I encourage you to listen to any kind of music you like during our color play today.
I have a few questions for you.
Do you have something to color on?
Do you have at least eight different colors of something to color with?
Your choice.
Markers,
Colored pencils,
Pens,
Anything.
Colors,
Essential.
They call to me,
They bring me life.
How do colors speak to you?
Before diving in,
I always like to take a few deep breaths to slow down the body and center to open the heart and mind to possibilities.
Take a deep breath in and let it out.
In through the nose and release.
One last time.
Now it's time to play.
With your choice of writing tools in front of you,
Choose five colors.
I have a tendency to overthink it.
Maybe you do too.
So quick,
Pick them now.
Do you have them?
With these five in hand,
Close your eyes.
Take another deep breath.
Then take two away.
It's time to create with the three that are left.
Quality is valuable.
We're going to draw and color a few basic shapes.
With your page in front of you,
Take your first color and draw a circle.
Go ahead and color in that circle.
It doesn't have to be big.
With the second color,
Draw a triangle,
Whatever size you feel like.
Now we're going to color that in.
Wonder what colors you have.
And with the third color,
Draw a square and color that in.
I really like this color.
Every time I do this,
It's different colors.
Different colors I get to choose and then they choose me.
Going back to that first color,
Draw a little circle on your page.
Now with the second color,
Draw another circle around your first circle.
And you guessed it,
Take your third color and draw a circle around that second circle.
With your third color,
Color in the circle in the middle.
Yep,
There you go.
With the second color,
Color in the outer circle.
And with the first color,
Color in the second circle.
And there we are.
Colors,
They matter.
Play with them,
Be with them,
And grow with them.
Thanks for connecting and creating Wonder with me.
