I'm so glad you found your way here. This soundtrack offers a mindful space to come home to yourself after engaging with someone in your life who is particularly disruptive and impactful. If you are ready to release what no longer serves you, this meditation offers mantras that will give your body and spirit the space to let go and come more fully back to yourself. In this work of coming home to ourselves, we must be aware of sensations in the body, when our body says it's "yes" or "no" and where we hold various emotions. In this recording, we affirm that we can have compassion for this person in our life, and still recognize that our interactions with them deeply impact us. It is our task to come home to ourselves, soothe our activated nervous systems, and release this person to do their work. I'm so glad you are here to join me on this journey. These tracks are never meant to replace or substitute for therapy. Music Credits: bensound License code: VTDGYO7DAFU4PRPY

Welcome.

I'm so glad you found your way here today to this series of regulating and releasing after an encounter or maybe a long season of encounters with someone in your life who that has been really painful that has been really impactful to you.

Just a gentle reminder that these meditations and offerings of mantras are never meant to be a substitute or stand-in for therapy.

So as you arrive here just bringing your full attention to your body in space maybe beginning with sitting bones bringing your mind's eye there and gently traveling up the spine and taking note of what is happening in your body.

Maybe there are pockets of tightness maybe you are holding your breath just bring your attention and your awareness and curiosity to this moment and what does your body have to say?

Is there one side or the other that is tight or tense or holding more than the other?

Take a few rounds of cleansing breath and we'll begin this work of releasing what no longer serves you.

And you may recognize some of these mantras some of some of this from other traditions might be familiar and I'd like you to just listen and continue that curiosity with your body as we go through these mantras.

Listen for where your body says yes and where your body says no.

Where your body is in agreement and where your body says I'm not ready yet I can't release that yet.

This is part of the practice this is part of this releasing is honoring what the body has to say and coming back maybe again and again to this or other meditations that offer these ideas these practices and where you where you hear a no you get to decide whether to say that out loud or to pause there to reflect be curious this is your practice so we will begin I forgive you I forgive you I'm sorry I'm sorry I love you I love you I love you I want so much more for you than you are currently choosing for yourself I want so much more for you than you are currently choosing for yourself I forgive you I forgive you I'm sorry I love you I want so much more for you than you are currently choosing for yourself I release you of love and belonging you are deserving of love and belonging I release you from my anger I release you from my bitterness I release you from my hatred I release you from my hurt I release you I release you I release you I release you I want so much more for you than you are currently choosing for yourself I want so much more for you than you are currently choosing for yourself I hope for you you you find the ability to release me from your anger your hurt your bitterness your hatred I forgive you I'm sorry I love you I release you maybe there is one of those mantras that stands out to you that feels like it holds the kernel of truth the key to releasing for you maybe you can bring that into your day and allow it to wash over you again and again like a wave I release you I release you I release you and sometimes you may or may not be and sometimes you may or may not be ready for this and wherever you are in your process sometimes even to recognize and be able to bless the teacher in this other person this is not the teacher I would have chosen you are not the teacher I would have chosen this is not how I would have chosen to learn these lessons but I bless I think I'm grateful for the lessons that have been learned for where it has invited me this is not the teacher I would have chosen thank you teacher I release you I release you I release you thank you for joining I hope some or one of these mantras has offered something to you that you can bring into your day thank you again
