Welcome the pleasurable feeling of your body comfortably reclined in the tub.

Your body submerged beneath the surface of the water,

Becoming aware of the weight and the heaviness of your head resting.

Welcoming any adjustments or movements,

Finding that perfect position.

Notice the stillness of your body,

How you continue to sink deeper and deeper.

Gently close your eyes,

Encouraging your other senses to magnify.

Hear the gentle music in the background and how it flows with the sound of my voice,

Words of gentle guidance from an unknown author.

Notice how you have the internal knowing that your bathtub is filled with exactly the right amount of water.

Feel the temperature of the water,

How it's exactly as you like it.

Find yourself aware of the heat surrounding you.

Feel how your body continues to unwind.

How the water hugs every inch of your skin so gently as you soak in the soothing,

Calm atmosphere.

Notice how the warmth of the water triggers the relaxation of your muscles and your mind.

Shift your focus now to your breath as the air enters through your airways from the nose into the lungs.

Take your time to breathe slowly and fully.

Feel your body rise in a subtle way as you inhale,

Filling with heaviness as it slowly sinks back down.

Notice the surface of the water and how it moves as you inhale and exhale.

Feel any changes in temperature as your body continues to adjust to the water encompassing you,

Bringing your attention to the stillness.

Take a few moments to consciously scan over the body,

Scanning for any tensions you may still be holding onto,

Feeling as if your body is anchored into place,

Letting go of any control.

Allow the water to lift your arms if the room inside your bathtub permits it,

Giving yourself this time,

This luxury of pure isolation and comfort.

Focus your attention on your fingertips,

Experiencing how your hands move through the water,

How they gently glide with very little resistance.

Take them just above the surface of the water and feel the temperature change as you do so.

Notice how the water brings you a sense of comfort and safety,

How it encourages your body and your mind to fully relax.

Find yourself breathing with a natural and relaxing rhythm.

Feel your body soaking up the benefits of any oils or bath salts.

Imagine them soaking into your skin and deep into your muscles,

Working exactly how they are designed to as you take this time to replenish,

Taking this time just for you.

Recognize any familiar aromas in the room surrounding you,

Any pleasant thoughts or memories connected to them,

The feeling of happiness and how it warms you.

Feel how the temperature of the water has increased your body's natural holding temperature,

How it soothes and relaxes your muscles and your mind.

Feel your mind calming as everything around you becomes still.

With no further instructions,

Find your mind drifting off for however long you need.

What a wonderful bath I just enjoyed-what a beautiful treat! Thank you Nikki, for showing the importance of women taking care of ourselves. After all, how can we care for our families if we don’t care for ourselves first? It can be hard to break that cycle but it’s so important to do so and perfectly okay to do so. And the music was magical! What is the name/artist of the track you chose to use for this meditation? I’ve heard it used before but am becoming frustrated in trying to find it. Thank you again, for a beautiful bathtime meditation.
