Find a quiet place where you are not interrupted.
You might want to sit on a chair on the floor.
Adjust your body so you are sitting upright and relaxed and very comfortable at the same time.
Gently close your eyes.
Now is the time to do nothing and simply be.
So every time you exhale,
I invite you to let go of everything that you are doing.
Letting go of everything that you feel you need to be doing.
Allow yourself to simply sit and become aware of whatever it is that this present moment is presenting itself to you.
Let your breathing be natural,
Let the body breathe on its own and you become aware.
Become aware of any thoughts or emotions that come and go.
Or become aware of the noises in the background,
The sensations on your skin.
Become aware of what catches your attention,
What distracts you,
What bores you,
What you feel resistant to.
Become aware.
Whatever is happening is happening anyway,
With or without your participation.
Is there anything different when you become this watcher experiencing life from a distance?
How does it feel?
Can you invite this attitude of relaxation,
Of simply just watching and don't even bother to judge,
To analyse or to resist anything that happens in your experience?
My job is to watch whatever is happening.
I just sit and relax and I observe my own breath.
Is it in-breath and out-breath?
The breath comes from my nose to my chest and my abdomen.
I am simply sitting,
Watching and enjoying this state of non-doing.
What do you need to drop in order to really enjoy this state of non-doing?
Take a moment to truly feel this pace of peace and calmness within you,
This inner silence you have created for you before coming back to your normal place.
May you be well.
May you be healthy and strong.
May you be loved.
May you always take care of yourself.
