Welcome to The Mountain,
A guided visualization meditation with me Claire Cockle.
Thank you for joining me here.
So firstly I'd like you to find a comfortable position,
Whether that be sitting on a chair or on the floor,
However feels most comfortable for you for this meditation.
So whenever you're ready,
Close your eyes and just take a moment to notice how your body feels right now.
Don't try and fix anything,
Just notice how it feels.
Notice how your breathing feels.
Again we don't want to change our breathing,
Just notice how the natural rhythm of your breath feels.
Start to feel your body deeply relax.
Any tensions you have are slipping away.
Your muscles are melting,
Softening.
Imagine you are standing at the bottom of a mountain.
The view is peaceful and stunning.
Take in the nature surrounding and covering it.
Its height,
Its strength.
You begin to slowly and easily stroll up the mountain.
The sun is shining and the temperature is warm and completely comfortable.
A refreshing warm breeze brushes past your face.
You face up towards the sun and take a deep breath in.
Breathing in and breathing out.
You stop for a moment and just take in the surroundings.
The beautiful scenery,
The quiet on your mountain.
Notice how calm you feel.
How content,
Confident and proud.
Take a few natural relaxed breaths.
Enjoying the quiet.
You continue slowly up the mountain.
You feel strong and supported in yourself and on the ground you are walking.
Your thoughts are only on the journey you are taking and how it feels and looks all around you.

As you reach the top of the mountain you feel renewed and completely relaxed.
You sit on the soft ground and your feet relax deeply.
Your legs unwind.
All the muscles in your body just letting go.
You simply sit and take in the amazing views surrounding you.
It's so beautiful on the top of this mountain.
There are only very subtle sounds of nature in the distance of your peaceful place.
You sit here as the sun begins to fade knowing you are safe,
Comfortable and warm.
You enjoy just watching the colours change in the sky,
Warm from the sun.
Take a few breaths here in this secure spot.
Let your body relax from the journey to get here.
Let go of any tensions.
Enjoy the views all around you.
We are now ready to start to return from this incredible place.
Keep the calm and strength inside you as you slowly start to reawaken your body and mind.

Gently waking.

Being more conscious of the present and becoming more aware.

One.
Moving fingers and toes and becoming fully awake and present.
