Take a deep breath in and out and tell yourself the word relax.
Your mind is becoming quite calm.
Your eyes are closed.
Your physical body is beginning to relax.
And you are beginning to go deep down into a relaxing state which is very comfortable.
As I count you down from five down to zero,
With each count you will go ten times as deep.
The physical body will relax and the mind will be completely calm.

And zero.
You are listening to my voice and any other sounds that you hear in the background will help you to focus on the sound of my voice only.
Focus on your eyelids and with each breath start breathing out all the stress,
All the tension through your closed eyelids.
With each and every breath you will keep going deeper and deeper.
We are going down to a position that is very safe in your own mind.
So with each and every breath you take give yourself permission to go deeper and deeper.
Your physical body will relax and your mind will be very,
Very calm.
The deeper you go the more you relax and the more you relax the deeper you go.
Focus your attention and your concentration on the toes of both your feet.
Now let this concentration move from the toes into the heels,
Into your ankles and slowly into the calves of your legs.
And from the toes to your knees feel a wave of relaxation,
Feel this wave of relaxation moving up through your thighs,
Your hips and into your stomach muscles.
The relaxation now moves up into your solar plexus across the chest area,
Further up into your shoulders and slowly moves down through your arms,
Your hands and your fingers.
Your neck muscles are relaxing.
This relaxation now moves up through the scalp across the forehead,
Further down over the eyelids,
The facial muscles and the jaw muscles and the entire physical body.
Now relaxes deeply and completely with each and every breath.
Now as I count you down from five down to zero each count prepares you to enter a more relaxed state deeply at zero.

Imagine or visualize yourself on top of a staircase.
This staircase has 20 steps going down,
Is very well lit and has good sturdy handles on both sides.
Look into your feet,
With your left foot first you will go down that staircase.
Each step you take will take you 10 times as deep,
Will make you more relaxed and will make your body lighter and lighter.
When you get to the bottom of the staircase you will be very deep in your own subconscious mind and your body will feel so light and so comfortable as if it was entirely made of light only.
