Welcome to this gratitude meditation.

I'd like to invite you to sit in a comfortable position.

You can be taken seated or lying down somewhere where you can be undisturbed and comfortable.

Now start to bring awareness into your breaths.

Notice your next inhale and after that the next exhale,

The next inhale,

The next exhale.

As you notice your natural breathing rhythm.

So not trying to change it or do anything with it.

We're not trying to make it shorter longer or hold it.

We are just observing as it naturally happens.

Inhale and exhale.

I would like to invite you to think of one thing that you are grateful for today.

On your next inhale just say in your head the words I am grateful for and then as you exhale the thing that you are grateful for.

So I am grateful for and then the thing that you are grateful for.

Inhale I am grateful for,

Exhale the thing that you are grateful for.

Start again with I am grateful for on your next inhale and say in your head the thing that you are grateful for on your exhale.

Now just keep repeating this mantra each inhale and exhale.

I am grateful for,

I am grateful for,

As you keep anchoring into this mantra inhale I am grateful for,

Exhale the thing you are grateful for.

Just keep this pattern of inhale exhale and that mantra in your brain.

Now as you repeat the next few breaths and you take your next few mantras if you haven't already start to feel the edges of the mouth turn up into a smile.

As you express gratitude through your mantra so this resonates through your physical body.

Maybe even thinking of a big smile across the chest extending across the belly.

Inhale I am grateful for,

Exhale and be grateful.

Repeat the mantra five more times.

I am grateful for you joining me today with this gratitude practice.

As always the light in me honours the light in you.

Thank you for joining me.
