Hello and welcome.
I'm Claire Squires and I will be guiding you today on your Who Am I meditation.
Sitting in a quiet place with your feet on the floor,
Your palms facing up and resting on your lap.
Closing down the eyes if it's safe and comfortable to do so.
Start to take some nice slow deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.
When taking these breaths feel it all the way up through your nose to the top of your head and then exhaling feeling all the way down through your body and out the soles of your feet into the floor.
Let's do that again one more time.
In through the nose all the way up through the top of your head and letting it out slowly pushing it all the way down to the soles of your feet on the floor.
Now breathing nice and normally I just want you to connect with the soles of your feet.
Feel your hips supported in your seat comfortably,
And your shoulders down and relaxed.
And as we relax,
Slowly feeling your breath,
I want you to ask yourself who am I?
Who am I?
Just let those words swirl nicely around through your energy and feel yourself opening up to those words.
Who am I?
Who am I?
When we ask ourself this question we open up our subconscious and go beyond the roles we might play in the world.
Beyond wife,
Mother,
Brother,
Father,
Friend.
We find who we are.
Who am I?
Who am I?
Now feel the openness going about your day,
The way you interact with others,
How you feel when you're called,
Where your intention may lie within that today.
As you start to connect to you,
Think about who you're becoming.
How does it feel to be this person?
Which ideas and answers may come to you?
As you evolve into who you're meant to be,
Who are you?
And as you start to take some nice deep breaths and connect to that person,
Think about how you're going to get to that person today and how can you connect to that future energy.
I'll give you some moments to do this.
And as we take some breaths together,
Start to feel back into our bodies,
Wiggling our hands and feet,
Moving our shoulders.
Remember today could be the day that the person you're becoming is one step closer.
And as you start to come back into your body,
Whenever it's safe and comfortable to do so,
Slowly open your eyes,
Come back into the world.
Thank yourself for coming into this space today.
Thank the universe for giving you this opportunity to be here.
Have the most beautiful day.
