Hey there,
Thanks for joining me.
This is a three-minute reset for your body and your mind during a day that feels chaotic.
Perhaps you've been racing from one thing to the next all day.
Perhaps you've been focused on too many things at once.
Or perhaps you've been focusing on the future without remembering where you are in the present.
So,
Let's begin.
Take the time to find both of your feet on the floor.
Take a moment to ground into each of your toes,
Into the ball of your foot,
And into your heel.
Pressing yourself into the earth,
Find some length and extension through your thighs,
Through your hips,
All the way up through your spine and into the crown of your head.
Bring your shoulders up to your ears,
Squeeze them tight,
And then let them slide back and down behind you.
Let your arms rest at either side,
And take three deep breaths.
Inhaling through your nose,
And exhaling through your mouth.
Inhale again,
Filling up,
Exhaling to release.
Take one more big breath in,
Finding all of the air that you can.
When you get to the top,
Take one more sip of air,
And then exhale to release with a big sigh.
Take a few moments to stand here,
Allowing your body and your mind to connect.
After a few moments and a few deep breaths,
Begin to find some movement.
And let this movement be whatever you need it to be.
Maybe beginning to find some sways or rocks from side to side.
Maybe beginning to shake through the hands and the arms.
Maybe bending through your knees,
Kicking through the legs.
And allow this movement to get bigger and bigger.
Maybe even beginning to jump or skip or dance,
Continuing to grow this movement and allowing it to be a full release of anything that you're holding.
Any tension,
Any tightness,
Any stress,
Any of that chaotic feeling,
Let it go.
Take all of the time that you need here to shake,
To move,
To dance,
And to release.
Do not worry about what it looks like.
Let yourself become lost in the release.
Maybe this brings a smile to your face or a laugh.
Maybe this brings a big sigh or even a scream.
That is great.
Make as much noise and movement as you need.
Once you feel complete,
Begin to bring all of this movement to a pause.
Once again,
Find your feet on the floor.
Reset through your spine and come back into your body.
Bring one hand to your belly and one hand to your heart and take a deep breath in and out.
Notice how you feel.
You can come back to this practice as many times as you need and whenever you need a break throughout your day.
When you're ready,
Open your eyes and return to the space that you're in.
I hope you feel a release and that you have a wonderful rest of your day.
Thank you.
