Welcome to Radiant Mind,

A series of meditation and music to slow down,

To breathe,

And to return to ourselves and our bodies.

Learning and continuing to love ourselves is not easy.

Humans are not often taught how to develop kindness and compassion for our mind and our body.

Instead,

Our inner critic and negative thought patterns are easier and louder to hear.

Cultivating true self-love is much more than taking a bubble bath or putting on a face mask,

Although those do help.

It's a lifelong practice,

And it can feel uncomfortable at times.

Self-love is actually a skill that you can develop.

When you have a strong sense of self-love,

You understand your own value and treat yourself in a loving way.

After all,

The most important relationship you will ever have is with yourself.

This short self-love meditation is intended to allow you to feel love and kindness for yourself.

Self-love is a unique journey for everyone,

So take care and give yourself grace while listening.

When you're ready,

Settle into your body.

Relax your shoulders and let yourself get heavy.

Feel the earth beneath you,

Holding you.

If you're comfortable,

Either close your eyes down or soften your gaze.

When you are ready,

Take three deep breaths.

Inhale through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth.

Inhale through your nose.

Exhale through your mouth.

Inhale through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth.

Bring a hand to your heart.

Feel your heart beating.

Feel the warmth of your hand on your chest.

If it feels right for you,

Take a moment to feel gratitude for your beating heart,

For the center of your being,

Pulsing life force throughout your whole body.

Now I invite you to imagine a warm,

Soft light glowing at the center of your chest.

This light represents love that exists within you.

With each breath,

Allow this light to expand,

Filling your entire being with love and warmth.

Feel the glow radiating from your heart out to every part of you.

As you continue to breathe,

Bring to mind one thing that you appreciate about yourself.

This could be a quality,

Or an accomplishment,

Or perhaps a specific trait that you have.

Do any other things you like about yourself come to mind?

If not,

That's okay.

Let these thoughts fill your mind and heart with a sense of gratitude for the person that you are.

Embrace these positive aspects of yourself and let them nourish your self-love.

With each breath,

Feel that warm,

Soft glow expanding within you,

Enveloping every part of your being.

You can repeat these affirmations either silently or aloud.

I am worthy.

I am enough.

I am loved.

I am worthy.

I am enough.

I am loved.

Invite a deep breath in through your nose and exhale out of your mouth.

Take a moment to thank yourself for showing up to this practice today.

Know that you can return to this place of love and kindness within yourself whenever you may need it.

You are your own greatest ally,

And with each moment of self-love,

You strengthen the bond with the most important person in your life,

Yourself.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes and move about your day with a glow in your heart.
