A very big aloha,
And I wanted to talk today about my favorite subject,
And most people's favorite subject,
And that is love.
You know,
I love music,
And I write music,
And I create music,
And I'm a part of the Grammys,
And I have to say that all the songs that really seem to come through that make sense to people is really time and time again.
The subject that is used is love,
And love is constantly the theme that people will write about,
They'll sing about,
They'll do poetry about,
They'll write books about.
It comes down to love.
Now,
I've begun when I was very young to experience the love of that highest energy,
The source of all love within,
And that love was the most powerful thing that I ever felt.
There is a love that comes from the source of all love,
That presence within,
That can really truly change you,
Truly uplift you,
And forgive all the things that happen that are hurtful,
Understand all the reasons things happen in life,
And it always comes back to that gift of love.
And I have to be so grateful for that energy and those teachings that bring that presence of love that can heal,
And give us meaning in life,
And bring us insight,
And bring us to that center.
Now,
In meditation you can,
And I've done,
I'm a Zen teacher,
I've done Zen most of my life.
I took my Zen precepts many a year ago,
And Zen doesn't really talk a lot about love,
And I understand,
I mean,
It's a presence and just being there and being aware,
But I have to say I really have found that that love is talked about and experienced more through Christ,
And the energy of that presence of Christ's love,
And his love of all,
And that love is such a powerful,
Powerful teacher,
That I have to say I really enjoy that gift of understanding that love through that presence of the highest energy there.
And that love is also present through Mother Mary,
And the whole,
That whole source of teachings is really based on love.
And love is a great teacher,
You know,
And the love that God has is one of the greatest teachings that people can go to,
And relate to,
And return to again,
And again,
And again.
And that love is behind the forgiveness that we learn in life,
That love is behind the compassion that we learn in life,
Is behind so many wonderful things that can help us to thrive in life.
So I always,
Always encourage you to be opening your heart to the love of loves,
That love that comes from the source of all love,
And that teaches us so much,
And we need that love.
We need that love and that understanding that comes from that love so very much,
My friend.
And all I can do is extend that love to you,
That understanding to you,
And that gift that comes from the source of all love to you.
And that love is the greatest gift of all.
