Aloha,
I'm Reverend Cindy Palas and I'm going to be talking about harmony today.
I've been thinking about how harmony works in our music,
In our life,
In our solar system.
Harmony is an amazing thing and it's very powerful.
It's been a subject of people's speculation for decades,
Centuries,
Thousands of years.
In fact,
The idea of harmony and the harmony of the spheres and the music of the spheres goes back to the time of Pythagoras and Aristotle.
They were examining and explaining in cosmology terms the spheres to which the sun and the moon and the planets were pinned while their motion was driven by something akin to music.
And that's changed over time because the music and the sounds and the notes and the vibrations have changed with the Earth and our studies have gone deeply into the sound of the cosmos,
The sound of the Earth.
NASA has delved deep into the sound of all the planets and the sound of Mother Earth.
And there is indeed a form of this music that is an energy that sometimes we can't even hear that's affecting the way we live and move and our sensitivity of being.
And yet we all have our individual notes,
Our individual overtones,
Our individual ability to be in harmony with the universe and to also be in tune with that harmony.
And when we're in tune and able to understand the power of sound and the power of this universal harmony and the music of the spheres,
We are then able to use that energy and awareness to actually amplify the way we live and move and talk and create music.
And it's been looked at as the spheres all interacting in harmony and the spheres have now moved in over these thousands of years into the understanding of the biosphere,
The geosphere,
The hydrosphere,
The atmosphere,
And how they might all be affected by harmony and sound and the way they interact.
And we are an instrument of these amazing sounds.
So it's very interesting how we can actually explore and integrate our own harmony and sounds into the cosmology,
Into the cosmos.
I'm going to do some affirmations on harmony and we'll talk a little more about that and then do a meditation on it.
I am an instrument of harmony that is played by God's living light.
That reminds me of St.
Francis's beautiful prayer,
Lord make me an instrument of your peace,
Right?
We are instruments and we are able to be played by God's living light,
Just as a harp can be.
There are harps that actually can be played by the wind as the wind moves through them.
And so we can in our etheric energy be affected by the sounds of the birds,
The sounds of the universe,
The sounds of earth,
The sounds of the stars.
The next affirmation is the universe knows the song of life.
And I can sing along.
There are songs that actually speak to the ages and I can't help but think of Somewhere Over the Rainbow,
Right,
And how that's gone through all of the decades and still reaches to people today.
What a wonderful world it would be.
What the world needs now is love.
Certain songs reflect the energy needed at a certain time to lift our spirits,
Right?
The next affirmation is love carries my song with wings of light.
When I align with others,
I understand how to harmonize with them.
We play a role.
We all have our sounds that can merge together in a beautiful harmony.
I can't help but thinking of Crosby,
Stills and Nash.
I know I'm dating myself,
But they had such beautiful harmonies,
Right?
I mean,
Their harmonies were amazing.
And yet,
In personal life,
They have not been able to necessarily have that same harmony in their relationships and their friendships even.
So wouldn't it be wonderful if the way we harmonize with others in a song could also be the keynote of how our relationships work together.
The next affirmation is I say yes to life.
And I live in harmony with all beings.
I'm in harmony with my mind,
My body and my emotions and soul.
Yes,
Our soul has a tone.
Our soul has a tone that's carried with us through lifetime after lifetime.
And we can recognize that soul tone that calls us.
I am in harmony with myself and the universe.
Here's where that cosmos goes in.
Have you ever looked up at the night sky or gone up early and looked at the sky before the sun came up and found certain stars or certain planets call to you?
How does a star or a planet call to you?
But if you notice when you look up at the sky and there's billions and billions of stars,
Some speak to you.
And that's when we might make a wish on that star,
Right?
Or connect with it.
Because we're attuned in energy to that star that we may never go to,
But yet it's there.
And we look at it and who knows,
Maybe it's looking at us as well.
I am in harmony with all of life.
I can resolve negative energy with love so I can be in perfect harmony with others.
When I'm in harmony with God,
I am in harmony with everything.
Now why would that be?
Well God is the instrument that's the source of our playing.
It's the source of our tones.
It's our creator.
And when we can align with that center,
That main source,
We can actually come into alignment with all of our energy fields.
And just like our back can get out of alignment,
So can our energy fields and our sound fields,
Which can cause us to be out of harmony with life.
And light plays a major role in this.
Light has a vibration of energy which is carried in all the frequencies that are inherent on this planet.
And think about the power of light coming through a rainbow so ourselves each have a color,
A tone,
A rainbow of sorts in our aura.
And our aura can be actually creating a sound as well.
And that energy within us can connect and understand and be receptive to the energy in the universe and the music of the spheres.
Some great composers throughout time have been able to reflect that harmony of the universe in their music.
And when you listen to their music,
You are lifted and you are aligned as well.
You can use that vibrational energy in great music to bring harmony to yourself and to let that radiant energy shine throughout all of your light bodies,
That light that supports your mind and your body and your emotions and your soul and your entire being.
And is that entire being in harmony with the universe,
In harmony with others,
In harmony with the world?
Are you an instrument of peace?
When we're out of harmony,
We can feel that our peace of mind is disturbed.
And the daily life can not only jangle our nerves and our emotions,
But it can affect our inner harmony and the energy around us as well.
There has been so much work done and sound healing vibrations.
There are so many now putting out energy fields of sound that are healing and yes,
Sound can help heal you.
There are so many wonderful people working as healing people with their sound and their music and their energy.
So when we go out also in nature,
When we hear the birds,
When we walk out in fields or forests,
There's an energy field and a sound there.
And you'll notice that that whole field of forest and nature has a sound system going as well in harmony.
There've been people who've taken the sound of crickets at night and slowed it way,
Way,
Way,
Way down.
And it creates an amazing symphony of sound all working beautifully together as a network of sound that the crickets and those there just are working within in harmony too.
Now let's go into a meditation and see if we can align our energy with the source of all energy.
Let's just take some deep breaths and relax and go within to that inner place of your own tone.
Listening to the sound of your own breath as you breathe in and holding it for three seconds,
Aligning with your own soul's energy.
And as you breathe out,
Let that soul energy,
Let that vibration of your soul tone flow through all parts of your mind and your throat,
Your heart,
Your heartbeat,
All of your organs throughout your body,
All of your limbs,
Your arms,
Your legs,
Your bones,
Your knees,
Your calves,
Your feet,
And breathe harmony into all parts of your energy field.
Feel that energy of the universe and universal harmony pouring through in a positive field and vibration of healing throughout all of you.
Allow this energy to come into your heart of hearts,
That place within your heart chakra and feel that healing energy,
That vibration of love,
One of the highest vibrations within and feel it now as you go deeper and deeper and deeper into your heart.
Feel it aligning with your soul's energy field and feel the power of that love permeating your heart,
Your mind,
Your emotions,
And your soul coming into an alignment that harmonizes you with the source of all sound,
The source of all light,
The source of all love,
The conductor of the universe.
And allow that conductor of the universe to pour that light and love and sound of healing,
The music of the spheres into you to be aligned with the cosmos,
To be attuned to your highest self,
To be attuned to who you really are and the gift of your energy field.
Let that energy field just pour outwards,
See it extending through all of your aura,
Your etheric field and beyond and beyond into your whole energy field and extend it out now six feet and see yourself right there in this amazing healing energy field in your aura,
Attuned to each color of the rainbow in the highest astral and mental level with the highest light,
The highest sound of light pouring through all of you and protecting you with this amazing field of light and love.
And go into that place where you hear the sacred sound of silence.
Breathe in the silence,
Breathe in the sound of silence and let that silence align you and harmonize you.
How do you feel when you're in harmony with your soul,
With all of your beingness,
When you're in harmony with all of life?
Feel yourself renewed,
Restored,
Regenerated and allow this heavenly energy to pour through you so that you are an instrument of God's wonderful love and light and peace and allow yourself to feel in harmony,
To feel the goodness of this harmony,
To feel the power of this harmony.
And remember you can be in tune with that harmony within at any time you go into meditation.
And now slowly come out of meditation and allow yourself to feel this energy coming into all the outer material forms of your body and all of your life and feel that wonderful energy of harmony living light alive in you now and say,
Thank you God and so it is.
I thank you for being in harmony and being a part of that harmony and being here today and I send you my love,
My light and my blessings always.
