And I thought I'd do a little talk about acceptance.
And it's been interesting how we will do these debates with ourselves.
And I guess it should be more specifically self-acceptance.
We have a way of being very judgmental with the outside world and also with ourselves.
And a lot of that's based on what we see and what we're told and images that are given that we think we have to meet up with.
But if we really accept the truth of who we are,
If we really accept our true self,
We can be amazed at how that acceptance of ourselves will help us to have a better perspective of what's going on in the world.
And a lot of that these days is a rare thing.
And I certainly understand why.
But first of all,
You have to ask yourself,
Do you accept all of who you are?
There's so many images that are projected out there in the world of the way people think you should be,
Or the way you should look,
Or the way you should act,
Or the way that other people might think life is supposed to be,
That sometimes we forget the gift of who we really are.
And how miraculous,
How absolutely miraculous that gift of who you are is.
So I don't want to do a long talk.
So I thought I'd just go into a deep meditation of acceptance.
And I like to start,
Of course,
My meditations with putting light all around myself.
And I suggest you also just put a light around all of your energy field,
Above you,
Below you,
To the right and to the left,
In front and behind,
Until you're completely surrounded in a wonderful,
Protective,
Brilliant white light.
Ah,
Just breathe that in.
And go into that inner self as you take deep breaths.
Breathing in and releasing your breath.
Each breath is a gift,
The gift of life.
Be grateful for each and every breath you take.
Being aware of each breath.
Going deeper into that inner self.
Allow that essence of who you are,
To be present.
Allow that unlimited self that you are,
To be appreciated.
Thank yourself for that gift of being present with who you are.
Where does the essence of that presence come from?
Hmm,
Just got my neck cracking,
Which is good.
Hmm,
Can you sense your soul's presence here right now?
Have you know?
Be aware of the gift of that soul's presence.
Follow that soul's presence to its essence,
Its source.
What gave your soul life?
Take a moment and thank that gift of life.
That gift that created your soul.
The gift of your soul and your very essence of who you are.
Do you love yourself?
Take some time to allow yourself to be aware of that love in the heart of who you are.
That love that is the driving force.
Embrace that love with a smile.
And just appreciate this gift of life and that love of who you are.
It's a bird.
Bird just jumped on the roof.
Slowly come back.
And slowly come into awareness.
This precious body and this bird,
This precious body,
Mind,
And this gift of your life.
This precious gift of being here now.
Ah,
Very,
Very,
Very good.
Very grateful for this gift of you being here now.
