**Note: Truth does not always sound pleasant. If the mind is not really peaceful now, it might not be a perfect moment to listen to this podcast, one has to be aware of the emotions or reactions that can block one from listenING ATTENTIVELY and with HUMILITY. This talk is a meditation practice. What one needs to do is listen attentively, without getting stuck in words, examine the mind in silence, not agree or disagree, just look at the mind as it is. Doing so is already part of true meditation.

We must question it.

How can a mind which is trapped in thoughts can have freedom?

Obviously,

It can't.

By this reasoning,

By seeing this clearly,

It is impossible that a mind that is trapped in thoughts has freedom.

That's why the freedom as a concept,

As a pleasure,

Becomes the immediate solution.

In this economy,

There are so many options.

And we are told it's free to choose.

You are free to choose.

But if there's real freedom,

There's no option at all.

Freedom means that you have your own way to make it.

And making a choice means that the mind is trapped.

And only a mind which depends,

Chooses.

Chooses among the options.

But that dependence implies the mind is trapped.

So we have to see clearly this contradiction of the freedom as a concept.

It is easier to imagine the mind is free to do something.

But in actuality,

When the mind has this order,

Which is me,

Which is the self,

The ego,

The mind is trapped in the desire,

In its egocentric end.

And this freedom becomes the warm bed for egoism,

Individualism,

All kinds of ultra selfishness.

And this is the permissiveness,

Not freedom as truth.
