**Note: If one is not really peaceful right now, it might not be a good moment to listen to this podcast. The future is projected from the past, it is just a modified version of the past. This talk is actually a meditation practice. What one needs to do is listen attentively and peacefully, without getting stuck in words, examine the mind in silence, no agree or disagree, just look at the mind as it is. Doing so is already a meditation practice.

Can the mind and body be together?

Which means that can the mind also perceive the now,

This moment,

Not being trapped by the past or the future?

Is there any difference between the past and the future?

Or is the future a modified version of the past?

We project what we know which is the past through now into the future.

So the future is still the projection of the past,

Modified by all desire,

Over all kinds of likings,

Dislikings,

Or whatever.

So we can say,

Psychologically,

There's no future.

As long as the mind is trapped by thoughts,

The mind is trapped by the past.

It means that for most people,

They are living in the past,

In all kinds of forms,

Subtle ones,

Great ones,

Or whatever.

Such a life where the mind is holding onto the past inevitably leads to all kinds of sorrows of life,

All kinds of miseries,

All kinds of issues.

All of the human issues are from the past.

No exceptions.

We cling to the hatred.

We cling to the hostility.

We cling to the pleasure.

As long as human being clings to the past,

Everything will continue in its way.

The future mind never stops creating issues,

Problems,

Challenges,

Conflicts.
