Hello to you dearest mama.
I invite you to take this time for yourself.
Find a quiet place to sit or lie down and for the next little while allow yourself to let go and to love yourself fully.
I know sometimes it feels like your value goes unseen.
Day after day you give so much of yourself.
Some days you feel depleted,
Even empty,
And the lack of energy brings you to a less than blissful place.
The state of being keeps you from being able to give and love the way you want to.
It's hard to be there for anyone,
Even yourself.
It's time to fill your soul again.
Understand that these difficult moments will pass and they are an important part of your journey.
A journey of illumination.
Take some deep breaths in and out.
Feel the air coming in through your nose and out through your nose.
Relax your shoulders,
Your arms,
Your cheeks,
Your abdomen.
Take in another deep breath,
Relaxing your legs,
Your feet.
Allow your body to release the tensions of yesterday,
Today and tomorrow.
As you relax,
Understand that thoughts will come and go.
This is a part of meditation.
As thoughts come in,
Let them go and just come back to your breath.
You must learn to love yourself fully,
To light the candle flickering inside of you.
This light is your spirit and it wants to lead your way.
It wants to burn so brightly with love,
Love that can sustain you and allow you to give your babies and loved ones all the love you are worthy of giving.
For it's not in receiving gifts,
Vacations,
Expensive toys or the latest gadgets that make our little ones feel loved.
It is in the power of our patience and presence in their daily lives.
Learning to love ourselves wholly and live mindfully is the secret.
To love without abandon is the key to their hearts.
The spirit within us,
The being we were born as,
The inner child in us needs love too.
Love her fully,
Heal her aching heart and you will heal your own.
If we do nothing else today,
Mama,
Let us breathe in the good and let go of the bad.
Let go of the disappointments,
Hold lovingly the successes.
When you look at your child today,
Watch the abundant curiosity in their eyes,
Their innocence and overwhelming capacity to love.
Be patient with their journey.
Let your little ones be little as you once were little too and as you grew up,
They will also grow up.
Stop rushing,
The past is gone and the future has not yet come.
Be in the present moment.
It is here that you will experience happiness.
This is the path to love.
Cherish your moments.
Take some more deep breaths in and out.
Smile,
You are here.
You woke up and drew a breath today.
That in itself is a miracle.
You have a purpose,
You are not alone.
You are free to live authentically and beautifully.
You are a light.
Do what it is that you have been called to do.
Love all of you,
Your body,
Mind and spirit.
Do things that are good for you.
Resist temptation for the things that you know are not.
In times of doubt,
Just come back to your breath.
Things that are good for you support wisdom,
Truth and growth.
Be kind to others and kind to yourself.
Don't forget that in this wondrous journey of motherhood,
That you need love too.
Love and be loved.
Dearest mama,
As you breathe in and out,
Let go of the pressure to perform.
Just be.
Take this moment of peace with you today.
During times of stress,
Stop and breathe.
If your mind becomes overwhelmed with frustration,
Anger or sadness,
Just come back to your breath.
Your breath is a tool that you always carry with you.
Your breath will calm you and reconnect you to the peaceful spirit within.
Be still,
Be present,
And smile through the storm.
