Christian Straka

Christian Straka is a mindfulness-based mental performance specialist with 40 years inside competitive tennis — as a player, academy head coach, and professional mental performance coach. He specializes in integrating structured mindfulness training directly into how tennis players practice, compete, and recover. His coaching has been present at defining moments in the sport. He worked with Victoria Azarenka through her junior Australian Open singles and doubles titles and junior French Open doubles title. He was Mike Bryan’s mindfulness coach when Bryan won the 2018 ATP Finals alongside Jack Sock. He is co-founder of MindSize Sports alongside Julianna Raye, developed in collaboration with Unified Mindfulness. He currently lectures on mindfulness and athletic performance at USC and is co-authoring a book on mindfulness and tennis with Mike Bryan. He is a certified Unified Mindfulness Teacher and member of the International Mindfulness Teachers Association. His guided sessions focus on the core attention skills that transfer directly to tennis and competitive sport — external focus, sensory precision, and present-moment awareness under pressure.
