The love in you.
The love in you is always there.
A heartbeat,
Sensation,
String of events away.
Fearless,
Transcendent,
Breathing through anything in its wake.
Any challenge,
However insurmountable ceases to exist as you drop down and immerse totally in the medium,
In the resolve of the task and the conviction of your soul.
We lose it though,
This great power,
Getting caught up in the external world,
Worried what others might think,
Friends,
Family and how we might appear in this culture,
Fighting to build our image,
To become somebody.
Yet in this race to accomplish,
To be something other,
We lose ourselves.
Pain,
Pleasure,
Agony,
Elation,
A looming frustration becomes the story.
Where is the love?
It only takes a brief moment though,
The sigh of relief on a friend's face,
The carefree play of a child,
The felt sense of your being establishing a new warmth in your heart.
And so with this warmth it all begins to turn,
The desires we accumulated dissolve away and so with it goes our fragile reality.
Making way,
Making way for a broader quality to emerge,
A strength to surrender,
A significance felt,
Our body pulsating with the undercurrents of soul.
And then comes our time,
We loosen our grip,
Are we ready to let go?
To say yes to this great new adventure,
To live and die for the love,
For the love in you.
