A message for our son, who stepped into the fire as a wildland firefighter. In his first season, we did not yet understand the health and safety concerns. Black smoke, intense heat, lack of sleep, working very long days and the worries for his safety. As parents, we never truly know where our children’s paths will lead or what callings they will choose to follow. All I can do is hold him in my heart, surround him with prayer, and meet him with openness and honesty whenever the moment allows. If you are a parent, may these words offer you strength, comfort, and peace—especially in the moments when you need it most.

It simply appeared,

No wishing or wondering,

It was magic from the very beginning,

Love for you.

As time passed,

This love grew deeper roots,

Like a sturdy tree that reflects your growing strength,

Determination,

And resilience.

When love is present,

It burns fiercely,

A fire worth fighting for.

That is the love I hold for you.

It's a battle for life itself,

Shared with others,

And all the experiences that come with it.

Indeed,

We shield ourselves from pain,

Suffering,

Disappointments,

And sacrifices,

Recognizing them as the marks etched into our growth,

Helping us stand even taller.

A tree stands alone,

Enduring the persistent and nagging elements around it.

Instead of pushing them away,

It embraces all of it,

It's strong,

It remains,

Never succumbing to the unbearable.

Love manifests in various forms,

Sometimes it is misunderstood,

Yet it is always present and persistent,

It is unconditional,

Flowing through the wonder,

Bliss,

Peace,

And currents of life.

A mother's love knows no restrictions,

No boundaries,

It remains constant from inception to eternity,

It simply is.

Her greatest wish is that the seeds she has planted help you grow into the tallest,

Strongest,

And most magnificent tree in a thick forest.

A mother hopes that the love she shares with her child is also nurtured within them.

At the root of great self-love lies the ability to love others more abundantly.

With open arms reaching to the sky and asking for protection,

Clarity,

And focus,

She wraps you in a protective blanket of love.

You are never alone,

You are forever held in the thoughts,

Words,

And actions of those who love you.

Let this love be your guiding source.

Embrace life in all its fullness and explore it with your entire being.

When you encounter trees of various sizes and shapes,

May you feel safe,

Have a sense of the wisdom around you,

And find peace.

Then return home to yourself,

Honoring what feels right,

Pondering life's experiences,

Setting boundaries where necessary,

And seeking relaxation and renewal to help you engage fully in the hard work ahead,

Growing stronger and more resilient with each step when your boots take you elsewhere.

At the end of the trail,

Focus on the goodness of your journey and how far you've traveled.

Cherish the knowledge you've gained and be grateful for that understanding,

Even if it is a solitary celebration.

Such moments are the most precious.

The greatest gifts a mother can offer are love,

Grace,

Compassion,

A listening ear,

Forgiveness,

And time.

Sometimes silence holds the most profound moments shared together.

Change is constant,

And as the sun sets,

Another dawn will emerge.

With change,

Everything changes,

And that is a wonderful gift.

Love,

It conquers all.
