Today we are gathering in this sacred space to honour Beltane which is an ancient Celtic festival and it's marking the midway point between the spring and the summer.

This is a time when the earth is in full bloom and the life force energy is rising.

Nature is alive with fertility and joy and colour and Mother Nature,

Mother Earth is asking us to,

It's an invitation for us to open and for us to blossom and also to remember our inner fire.

Beltane is a celebration.

It's for me,

It's one of the really big honourings of abundance but we also here celebrate passion and creation,

Sensuality and the sacred union of light and life.

This is also seen as a festival of flowers and fertility.

And we are also working with the energy of the masculine and feminine and the balance between them both,

The yin and the yang.

And I know that we all can sway sometimes and sometimes our life can be a lot more yang and sometimes our life can be a bit more yin.

So as you settle into this practice now,

How are you feeling today?

Do you feel like you are sitting a little bit more in the yang,

In the more of the busy,

The doing,

The adrenal kind of go go go energy or are you sitting more in a slow,

A slower pace?

May even feel too slow but this is not to judge and it's not to feel annoyed or frustrated with any energy,

It's just awareness.

And then if you are aware that you are feeling like you're sitting a little bit more in one than the other,

How could you gently guide yourself back into the dao,

Into the balance?

That comes back to the idea of speaking to yourself like a child and asking yourself what do you need,

What do you need?

Beltane is a celebration and today we're going to honour this beautiful festival by awakening the joy in our hearts and aligning with the beauty of all that's ready to grow within us,

To come out into the world,

Just like the petals coming out of the beautiful flower bud.

So if you haven't lit a candle and you want to,

Just honouring this fire energy of Beltane,

If you have flowers near you or plants near you and it's even possible to hold one or to just visualise one,

That blossoming,

The beautiful petals,

And this is your time now to receive and to remember and to reconnect.

Let this be a time to awaken joy,

Welcoming abundance and coming home to your light.

Close your eyes gently now,

Bring your attention to your breath,

A soft,

Sweet inhale and a long gentle exhale.

Let your shoulders drop,

Let your belly soften and let your whole body begin to settle into a comfortable place of stillness.

With every breath that you take now,

Allow yourself to arrive.

Bring your awareness to the very top of your head around the crown chakra and float this awareness down through your face,

Relaxing your forehead,

And your eyes,

Nose,

Mouth and cheeks.

Flow this awareness down through your arms to the fingertips and all the way down through your spine.

Bring the awareness down into your hips and pelvis and down your legs,

Down to the soles of your feet and into the earth and allow whatever is supporting your body to be a part of you.

To hold you,

To steady you,

To settle you.

Imagine roots extending from the soles of your feet down and down into the moist rich soil of spring.

This is the most sacred soil of possibility,

The place where seeds awaken,

The ground of your becoming.

Let yourself rest here,

Rooted,

Held,

Safe,

Rooted,

Held and safe.

Now we begin a journey You are walking barefoot through a wild Beltane meadow.

The air is warm.

The sun glows golden above you.

The scent of honeysuckle and wild rose fills the air.

And if you listen,

If you open the sense of hearing birdsong calls gently from the trees,

Bees hum,

Butterflies dance on the breeze.

Around you,

Wildflowers bloom in every color,

Magentas,

Gold,

Sapphires,

Soft violets.

Each and every petal is an offering of joy.

Take a deep breath,

Breathe in the aromas and perfume of this wild,

Meadow.

Feel how alive this place is.

How alive you are.

Let joy,

Happiness rise in you like rays of sunshine in your chest.

And as you walk,

Feel the earth receiving your steps with love.

Each step is a return,

A blessing,

A homecoming.

You've come now to a sacred grove.

White blossoms fall gently like snow.

And in the center,

A fire awaits you.

This is the Beltane flame.

It burns not to destroy,

But to awaken,

To ignite your life force,

Your inner spark.

Sit beside it and feel its warmth on your skin.

Feel the warmth on your heart.

Feel the warmth within the solar plexus.

Feel the warmth in the sacral.

This is the fire of creation and desire and sacred union,

The body and the soul,

The heaven and the earth.

The sun and the moon,

The yin and the yang.

Let it stir within you.

Let it awaken something ancient.

And knowing that you,

You are meant to shine,

You are meant to blossom.

Now is time.

Let your heart whisper these words to the flames.

I am ready to receive.

I am ready to bloom.

I trust in the divine unfolding of my path.

I am ready to receive.

I am ready to bloom.

I trust in the divine unfolding of my path.

Pause here.

Breathe.

Let the fire speak back and listen deeply.

Now bring both your hands,

Either physically or in your mind,

Hold your heart.

As we take this moment for a soul inquiry,

Ask yourself,

What is longing to bloom and blossom within me?

What is longing to bloom and blossom within me?

What brings me true joy?

What am I ready to receive?

How can I honor the sacred fire within me?

Let these questions land softly.

You don't need answers right away.

Just feel into the sensations,

The images,

The stirrings.

What is longing to bloom and blossom within me?

What brings me true joy?

What am I ready to receive?

How can I honor the sacred fire within?

Feel yourself part of this beautiful earth,

The field,

The grove,

The fire.

You are not separate.

You are made of the same as the flowers and the earth and the flames,

The petals,

The leaves.

You are them and they are you.

Breathe in this knowing.

Let it fill you.

Let it fill you just as nature knows when it's time to rest,

When it's time to shed,

When it's time to blossom.

Let this sense of trust and inner knowing flow into every cell,

Knowing when it's time to just be and when it's time to do.

Now,

Silently or aloud,

Repeat these following words.

I welcome joy into my life.

I welcome joy into my life.

I welcome joy into my life.

I open to receive abundance in all its forms.

I open to receive abundance in all its forms.

I honor my desires as sacred.

I honor my desires as sacred.

I am a living expression of love,

Light,

And pleasure.

I am a living expression of love,

Light,

And pleasure.

I trust my path is unfolding in perfect time.

I trust my path is unfolding in perfect time.

I am fertile ground for miracles.

I am fertile ground for miracles.

Let these words wash over you like sunlight,

Sunbeams,

Warm and welcoming to your body.

Flow with your breath for a moment and let these affirmations imprint into your energetic,

Physical,

Emotional,

Spiritual bodies.

Let these questions radiate through you and let the answers flow freely without expectation.

What brings me joy and how can I make more space for it in my life?

You can,

Of course,

Write at this point if you wish or just let the words float around and see what comes up.

What brings me joy and how can I make more space for it in my life?

What does abundance mean to me today?

What does abundance mean to me today?

What part of me is ready to bloom this Beltane season?

What part of me is ready to bloom this Beltane season?

What desire am I now ready to honour?

What desire am I now ready to honour?

Let your heart speak to you.

Let it be raw.

Let it be real.

Let it be radiant.

Take a deep,

Nourishing breath.

Breathe in the energy of joy and breathe out love into the world around you.

Breathe in the energy of fire and breathe out love into the world around you.

Breathe in the energy of abundance and breathe out love into the world around you.

And you will carry this light.

It will shine through your words and your movements and your choices.

You are not only a witness to the beauty of this season,

You are the blooming and the blossoming.

May you live in abundance.

May you live in joy.

May you walk in pleasure.

And may you blossom in your truth.

Blessed Beltane,

Beautiful soul.

You are blooming.

You are enough.

You are the light.

You are the light.

You are the light.

You are the light.

Namaste.

What a beautiful inquiry, and really well paced; thank you for uploading this! I'm saving it to repeat next year, and I'm hoping you have other wheel of the year meditations :)
