Rotation of Consciousness or 61-point body scan to help with insomnia, pain management, and anxiety. May be done at night to help you sleep or several times during the day to help bring you some comfort. The body scan invites relaxation which allows the prana, sacred and healing energy, to flow through your body. There is no closeout at the end so you may fall asleep if you're listening to the practice at night. Female voice. | Photo credit: Elina Fairytale from Pexels. This is Debbie.

Prepare yourself for this short Yoganidra practice of the body scan.

Settle down into your Yoganidra nest laying on the ground or in your bed in Shavasana.

Have your arms out straight with palms up.

You may want a bolster or pillow under your knees to help support the lower back.

Have your feet hip distance apart and falling out to the sides.

You may want a blanket covering you to help keep you warm and comfortable.

A small pillow under your head so that your neck is supported and chin is lower than your forehead.

Wiggle your feet and hands.

Roll your head back and forth a few times.

Move your jaw around and then release.

Maybe you will want an eye pillow covering your eyes to help relax you more.

Is there anything else you can do to make yourself even a little bit more comfortable?

There will be no close out so that you may use this practice at night to help you fall asleep.

You may also use it several times during the day to help with pain or anxiety.

Now bring your awareness to the breath.

Let's take two sips in through the nose and then long exhale through the mouth.

Two more times.

Now settle down and focus on the natural breath.

As I guide you through the body scan maybe you could focus on breathing into each body part as I say it.

Or imagine placing the healing crystal on each marma point as guided.

Or maybe you can visualize a healing stream flowing through your body.

Maybe a color.

Now can you bring your attention to the center of the eyebrows,

The base of the throat.
