Rather than fixing or changing anything, it offers space to notice what’s present with steadiness and care. This practice guides the body to remember softness. This meditation practice invites you to remember.

Remember the sacred space within yourself and return to your inner nest.

The place where you can always land softly no matter what.

Consider this practice a reminder to stay with yourself.

You don't have to expect yourself to produce or take care of anyone else.

You just have to show up for you.

Perhaps lately you felt an anxious urge to catapult your way forward.

This could feel like a disembodied presence,

A shallow breath,

Or a tightening of emotional body.

Whenever this comes up,

Invite yourself to soften exactly where you are.

We'll start by reconnecting to the physical sensations in the body.

Find a comfortable seat or lay down.

Notice where your hands and your feet are in relation to the earth.

Rest your eyes.

Feel the earth holding you.

Begin to rest on the inflow and the outflow of your breath.

Notice the sensations,

How it feels to take a deeper breath.

Let your breath ground you.

Let peace and steadiness permeate through you.

Invite your shoulders to relax and your heart to open.

From here,

Find some stillness,

Allowing your entire body to soften.

Notice the tone and quality of your inner voice.

Is it loving and supportive or harsh and demanding?

Continue to notice without judgment.

Simply witness what is here.

What emotional sensations are present?

How is your energy?

See if you can create and allow enough space to be with it all.

Let yourself remember softness.

Can you recognize when your body softens around a choice?

Perhaps it's the choice to be here now.

Trust yourself.

Trust in the presence of awakening in this moment.

You are embodying the present moment.

Honor this awareness.

Stay with your breath.

Choose to remember softness.

Reflect here for a couple more breaths without trying to change or fix anything.

When you're ready,

Give yourself the freedom to move on peacefully.

Bring your palms together at the heart.

Breathe in fully and clear it out.

Gently return to your time here,

Supported by the earth.

Give your head a gentle bow to your heart in deep gratitude and reverence.

No matter where you are,

What challenges you face,

This living sanctuary is always within you.
