Welcome.
This meditation is intended to help you meet yourself in the moment.
It can offer stability when you feel rushed,
Hurried,
Edgy,
Stressed,
Or falling behind in your own life.
This is an open invitation to meet yourself here,
Exactly where you are,
And choose to respond with loving presence.
Find a comfortable seat or lay down.
Notice where your hands and feet are in relation to the earth.
Rest your eyes.
Feel the earth beneath you and the sky above you.
Observe your place in space.
Let peace and stillness permeate through you.
Invite your shoulders to relax and your heart to open.
Invite your whole body to soften.
Begin to rest on the inflow and the outflow of your breath.
Notice the sensations,
How it feels to take a deeper breath,
And choose to stay here with yourself.
Imagine the breath is clearing a space for you,
Somewhere you can retreat to safely and softly anytime.
Sometimes you may feel as if you are in motion toward a shifting goalpost,
Or you compare your experience to a glimpse of a different journey.
When this happens,
Come back to what's alive inside of you,
What gives you life.
Return to the refuge of your breath.
See if you can observe your thoughts with open awareness.
Deepen the well of being and start to listen and tend to your heart.
Trust that you are here.
See if you can fully witness what is here and now without trying to change or fix anything.
Consciously create an inner sanctuary to be vulnerable.
When you start to feel a pressure to accelerate or catch up,
Invite your body to relax into the present moment.
Slow the rhythm of your breath.
Synchronize your stream of consciousness with the flow of your breath.
Let it all be one.
Inhale,
I am.
Exhale,
Here.
Here.
You are embodying the present moment.
Honor this awareness.
Give yourself the freedom to move on peacefully.
Begin to deepen the breath.
Bring your palms together at the heart.
Breathe in fully.
Clear it out.
Gently returning to this moment.
Bow to yourself in gratitude and reverence.
No matter where you are and what challenges you meet,
This living sanctuary is always within you.
Thank you for being here.
