And hello,
Welcome to a couple's meditation.
Something you guys can do together to just connect from the outside world and create your own little world.
And not just connect with your body,
But with your soul in the ethereal realm.
I hope you find this experience magical and I hope you find this experience,
No matter where you're at in your relationship,
Whether it's early or you've been seeing each other for years,
Decades,
Whether your relationship is going perfectly or maybe things are just little tense right now maybe things are just a little hard and that's okay this this meditation is to reconnect or just to go deeper and to remind you guys how much you love each other,
How much you adore each other and cherish each other.
And I'm hoping with this guided exercise,
You both can create this intimacy that is raw and just full of vitality after.
So without further ado,
I'm gonna get started.
So make sure your person is in front of you or beside you.
One can be behind the other holding.
Just be close enough that you can feel the warmth without trying to feel the warmth.
And if you could turn your phone on do not disturb with this recording and then the other person that does not have the recording please turn off your phone or turn on airplane mode or something no distractions and if you want to do airpods or headphones with this please do,
The music is going to feel a lot better.
You can still use a speaker and it'll still work,
But you know,
If you really,
Really want to feel this music within each other's soul aura field,
Throw on some headphones.
All right,
That's enough of me explaining stuff.
So like I said,
Face each other side by side,
One behind the other.
Choose right now.
I'm going to assume you guys are finished.
And just remember,
This time is completely yours,
Guys.
Now,
Take a slow breath in together.
And release.
Again,
Breathing in.
And out.
Let your body begin to exhale everything that is not in this moment.
The mental noise,
The roles that you've been playing,
The version of yourself that spends all day managing how you show up for the world.
You can put that down now.
It doesn't have to be forever,
But just for this.
Close your eyes.
Feel the weight of your body.
Feel where gravity has you.
Where you're held by the surface beneath you.
You don't have to hold yourself up right now.
Now,
Without opening your eyes.
Become aware of your special person beside you,
Behind you,
In front of you.
Not with your mind.
But with your body.
Their warmth.
The heat coming off their skin.
The sound of their breath.
Let yourself actually feel that they are here.
There's something that just happens.
When two people slow down together.
Something that gets very quiet and very alive at the same time.
You might be already starting to feel it.
One more breath in together.
And as you exhale,
Let your shoulders drop.
Let your jaw release.
Let your face go completely soft.
Bring your attention to your own body now.
We're going to move through it slowly,
Very slowly.
Starting at the crown of your head,
Not analyzing,
Just feeling.
Noticing what's alive in you right now.
Soften the muscles around your eyes your temples.
The hinge of your jaw.
Soften your throat.
There may be more tension there than you even realized.
Let it go.
Move your awareness into your chest.
Your heart.
If it feels natural,
Place a hand there,
Or if you feel called,
Place your partner's hand there,
If they've offered it.
Feel your heartbeat.
That steady,
Primal rhythm.
That's been with you every moment of your life.
Never asking.
Never pausing.
Just beading.
Now.
Move your awareness lower.
Into your belly.
Your hips.
The base of your spine.
This is where the body holds its deeper hungers.
Not talking about just food.
Or rest.
Or comfort.
I'm talking about hunger for closeness.
For skin,
For the specific feeling of being wanted,
Desired.
By someone who sees you.
And only you.
Notice what's here.
Whatever it is,
Let it be here.
You're not performing right now.
You're just feeling.
Now begin to extend your awareness outward toward your partner.
The heat of their body.
The specific weight of their presence.
You know this person.
The way they breathe.
The way they smell.
The particular gravity of them.
Let yourself,
Let your self feel pulled toward that.
Just slightly.
I want you to call to mind a moment with this person that you return to.
It might be a charged look across a room,
A touch that lasted a beat longer than expected.
A moment.
When you felt the full force of how much you wanted them.
Or how much they wanted you.
Let that memory surface.
Notice where you feel it in your body.
That feeling.
That pull.
It hasn't gone anywhere.
It lives in you.
It's been waiting underneath the noise of ordinary life.
And this meditation is an invitation to let that memory,
Let that feeling,
Let this bodily euphoria come back to the surface.
I want you to soften any part of yourself that's been slightly guarded.
Slightly armored.
Slightly behind glass.
We all do it.
It's okay.
We get busy.
We get distracted.
We manage our desire instead of feeling it.
Tonight though,
You don't have to manage anything.
Or today,
If you're doing this in the morning.
Imagine the space between you and your partner.
As something charged,
Not empty,
Not neutral.
It's like the air you feel just before a storm.
Like two magnets that know exactly where the other one is.
Let yourself feel the pull of that.
And now,
Slowly.
Open your eyes and look at them.
Don't look away.
Not yet.
I'll let you know when.
See the softness in their face?
The openness there?
They're here.
For you.
Completely.
And you are here for them.
I'm so glad you kept your eyes open.
You can close them when you are ready.
Take that image of them with you.
Let's bring awareness back to the skin,
All of it,
The full surface of your body.
Skin is extraordinary.
It's your largest organ.
It's designed at a biological level to receive touch,
To register warmth,
To respond.
Right now,
Notice what your skin is registering.
Temperature of the air.
The texture of what you are wearing.
The points of contact between you and your partner.
And now,
Notice what it wants.
There's a kind of touch that is transactional,
Automatic,
The brush of hands reaching for the same thing.
And then there's intentional touch.
Touch that says,
I am here.
I see you.
I choose you.
The second kind changes something in the body.
I want you to reach out now slowly and make contact with your partner,
Wherever this feels right,
Their hand,
Their arm,
Their face,
Their shoulder.
Move slowly as if the slowness itself is your message.
Feel the warmth of their skin.
Beneath your hands.
Don't rush past the sensation,
Stay here.
Feel the texture of them,
The weight of them,
The realness of them.
This is not just a body.
This is the person that you love.
Letting you touch them.
That's no small thing.
If you want to,
Let your touch begin to move.
Slowly,
With full attention.
The back of their neck,
The line of their shoulder,
The inside of their wrist.
Touch them like you're trying to memorize them.
Notice what happens in your body as you do this.
There may be warmth spreading through your chest,
Soft ache,
A sharpening of attention.
Will pull toward more closeness.
Whatever is arising,
Let it arise.
Desire is not something to manage right now.
It's something to be present to.
Stay with the sensation of their skin beneath your hands.
Stay with the sensation of their hands on you.
Let the room get smaller.
Let everything else fade away.
There is only this.
I want to take you somewhere deeper for a moment.
This is beneath the physical,
Beneath the emotional,
To be the part of you that exists before all of it.
Consider for a moment how specific this is.
Of all the people in the world,
All paths not taken,
All the timing that could have been different.
And here you are with this person in this room choosing this.
There is something in you that recognized them before you could have explained it,
Before you had language for it.
Some part of you knew.
From that place,
That deep knowing place,
Feel into your partner right now.
Not with desire,
Not with love as a concept.
Just recognition.
A quiet and ancient.
.
.
Let that settle into your chest like something that was.
.
.
Always true.
You belong to each other in a way that goes beyond the surface of material things.
And what you are building together,
What you're tending to matters.
Slowly now,
It's time to come back,
Back to the room.
Back to your body,
Back to the warmth of the person beside you.
Take a long breath in.
And a slow,
Full exhale.
And again,
Breathe in.
And release.
Whatever opened tonight,
Let it stay open.
You don't have to close back up when you leave this space.
You're allowed to carry this warmth with you.
Into the rest of your evening.
Into how you move toward each other.
When you are ready,
Only when you are ready.
Open your eyes.
And look at your partner.
One last time.
No words yet,
Just look.
You chose each other tonight.
In the quiet.
With your walls down,
With your armor off.
No guard with your full attention,
Your full presence.
That is not nothing.
That is everything.
Keep choosing each other.
Keep coming back to this.
Even when it's harder.
Especially when it's harder.
Come back to this.
And keep choosing each other.
Now slowly,
Gently.
Begin to return to the room.
And seal this with could be a hug,
Could be a kiss.
I'm going to let you two decide that for yourselves.
But I appreciate you for letting me hopefully initiate something beautiful in your relationship together.
I know it's full of love,
Full of light,
Full of bliss and peace and joy.
If this opened something for you,
Share with someone who needs it,
Share with the couple who needs it,
Or with someone who wants to connect with themselves.
And if you're ready to go deeper,
Into your inner world,
Your confidence,
The relationship.
You know where to find me.
Take care of each other.
