Sometimes I get this glimpse of the lightness of being,

Of a space where nothing is held onto,

Where there's no need to remember,

Where all is easy,

Where life is a poem or a song.

My voice dictates the rhythm so that everything dances along with it.

There is only beauty there.

Maybe it is possible to be just light.

Sit down somewhere comfortable.

Ideally cross-legged on a cushion or maybe on your sheets.

If you need to sit on a chair or maybe even lay down,

But we prefer sitting with a spine nice and erect to be alert.

Let your sitting bones sink into the ground.

Let the hips become heavy.

Elongate your spine,

Relax the shoulders,

Lengthen your neck and keep your chin parallel to the ground.

Turn your attention towards your breathing,

Towards your nose.

Allowing for the inhale to be that light,

To be the lightness of being and allowing for the exhale to be the ease of the poem of the soul with which we let go.

Why do we hold so tight to the burdens?

As if we are scared we will regret letting them go.

Being just like that breath,

The lightness of the inhale.

No need to remember an exhaling with ease to the rhythm that everything dances along with.

Nothing matters here.

I shrug to the narrative in my mind.

If your mind goes away that's fine.

The narrative as well comes back like a shadow over the sun kissed a wooden floor.

Simply bring it back and you hear the song again.

There's no need to listen to the stories.

Maybe just maybe letting it all go would make everything lighter.

Like a helium balloon that you just open your palm for.

Letting it rise up into the sky.

Lighter and higher to the sun.

And that lightness of the breath making your whole body feel like that helium balloon.

Like that lightness of being.

Like that space where nothing is hold on to.

Where there's no need to remember.

Where everything is ease.

A pole or a sun.

There's nothing to achieve.

There's nothing to perform.

There's only you.

Place both of the palms of your hands on your chest.

On your heart.

You put a light pressure there to connect to the feeling of the heart.

Register the feeling of the lightness.

Register that glimpse of lightness of being.

Set your intention.

Thank you for practicing with me.
