Step into another time-space reality and enjoy the peace. Let's meditate together in this empty room where you are just you and no one can reach you. In this meditation we let the expectations and labels be so that we can connect to the witness, the observer.

Sometimes I wish that I could just step into another dimension,

Into a room that is away from the time-space reality we know,

A completely empty room with only windows,

Windows allowing me to observe daily life,

Where I can be slightly as an observer.

Make sure that you are sitting somewhere comfortably,

In a position that you can stay at the same time as you are relaxed,

In a place where you will be undisturbed through the whole of this meditation.

Let your sitting bones sink deep down into the ground,

Let the hips become heavy,

Elongate the spine,

Relax your shoulders,

Lengthen your neck and keep your chin parallel to the ground.

Let your hands rest in your lap or on your knees,

But turn your palms up to be more open,

To feel more receiving of what is.

Before we step into the room,

Take a moment to be attentive to your breathing,

Feel the air go in and out through the nostrils,

In,

In,

Continuously,

In between and the exhalation.

There is a slight pause,

There is a moment,

That is where we find our room.

Imagine yourself sitting in that room.

No one can reach you,

No one can even see you,

It's as if you had stepped out of the dimension of your life,

As you know it,

And into this parallel universe,

Where you can choose to keep your eyes closed or to observe through those windows.

You know the way we observe something when we're standing high up,

Or maybe even going up in an elevator,

And we observe the busyness of the life underneath us,

Busy people running around,

Busy cars and streets,

Salesmen,

Conversations going on,

Arguments going on,

People meeting up,

People missing each other.

So much going on,

So much emotion,

So much hope and expectations,

Yet here we are,

Safely at a distance,

On the other side of the glass,

Just observing.

In my time,

Space,

I can step away from the labels that I've become accustomed to.

It can be just that presence that I know as I,

That has always been I,

That does not need to compare itself to other labels in order to know how it positions itself.

In my time,

Space,

There is nothing I can relate to,

So I cannot position myself in relationship to anything else.

There is no comparison,

There is just the presence of this breathing body and this witness observing the stillness and this timeless dimension.

Who are you when you take a time out from the labels,

From the expectations and from the must?

When you sit in this empty room,

Right now,

Simply observing yourself,

In that peace of knowing that no one can reach you,

That all you have is this space for you.

Can you feel that relaxation?

Can you feel that timelessness?

Can you feel the antidote for all the obligations,

The stress and obligations?

Bring your awareness back to the nose,

To the breath.

Once again,

Simply allow for the air to do its thing as it goes in through the nostrils down into your lungs and the warm breath again as it comes out.

There is nothing to achieve,

There is nothing to prove.

Be like your breath and visit us whenever you can.

Thank you for practicing with us.

Namaste.
