This recording begins with a lesson.
To skip to the meditation,
Go to 5 minutes and 55 seconds.
Our tradition teaches us that there is a place on earth from which all of existence blossomed.
This place is the gateway to the aura insof,
To the endless light.
And this is the place where Solomon built his temple.
But in particular,
The Kodesh HaKedoshim,
The Holy of Holies,
The most sacred space within this temple,
Only used once a year,
Sits right atop this gateway.
You can think of it as the router that connects you to the gorgeousness of pure divine light.
And because this is the gateway,
Wherever in the world a Jew may find themselves,
We pray in the direction of this gateway in Jerusalem.
And wherever we find ourselves in Jerusalem,
We face the Temple Mount.
And when we are near the Temple Mount,
We face the spot on which rests the Kodesh HaKedoshim,
The Holy of Holies.
And just like the land of Israel has its heart pulsating with divine light,
So you,
Precious one,
Have a place in the center of your chest that is pulsating with divine light and love,
With the power of life itself.
And just like our access to this holy spot is blocked by rubble and structures and political conflict,
So too this place in the center of your chest,
This tender heart of yours,
Is blocked by rubble of trauma and structures of protection and political conflict between all of your internal parts and the external world around you.
But what if you could turn your heart towards Jerusalem,
Towards the Temple Mount,
Towards the spot on which is meant to rest the Holy of Holies?
And what if you could attune your heart to the infinite light shining from that place and turn up the volume on the love and the light in you and become an echo of that light and love in that place,
Reverberating back and forth as a beautiful harmonic frequency?
Perhaps that would begin to shake up the rubble,
To make space for new structures and cooperation inside of yourself and inside of the Holy Land.
So that the light that is meant to shine upon the world,
The light that is meant to shine out of Jerusalem,
Can do so without any limitation.
I bless you with the light and love of Jerusalem.
I invite you to close your eyes and begin to relax your body by taking three full breaths into your belly and into your chest and then humming out the exhales,
Breathing in and again and one last time and as you feel your breath slowing down,
Expanding and deepening you can invite your body to relax by envisioning a divine light surrounding your head and shining down upon you,
Relaxing the muscles of your scalp and brow and jaw and feel that light coming down towards your neck and shoulders inviting them to let go of any tension they may be holding and feel that light washing over your shoulders and down your arms relaxing the muscles of your arms to your elbows and wrists and all the way to your fingertips and as that light washes over your chest and your back feel your breath expanding even more and your belly softening and relaxing into that breath so that as that light descends down to your hips your whole body can settle into your seat and the relaxation can just wash over your legs to your knees and ankles and all the way to the tips of your toes beautiful surrounded by light because precious one,
You are made of light so see if you can open up your pores and let that light soak into your skin even more and allow yourself to experience how that light is made of ahava of love of chayim of life and feel that love and the love of life itself soaking in deeper and deeper until it reaches your heart and saturates your heart with a taste of divinity and place your hands over your heart and your mind's eye into the center of your chest and breathe in and out of your heart breathe in ahava and chayim and as you exhale I invite you to imagine a city of gold Jerusalem and the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and deep under all of the structures that you've seen in person or in pictures there is the original stone on which rested the holy of holies so as you breathe in allow the light around you to soak even more into your heart the light of ahava and chayim and exhale that light directly to that stone on the Temple Mount and feel the Temple Mount breathing as well inhaling divine light and exhaling that light back to you precious one so that you both inhale ahava and chayim and exhale that love and light right back to each other in and because you are gifted to be like the divine you can imagine that light in your heart growing and it will and you can imagine the light on the Temple Mount growing and it will so allow yourself to imagine that a greater light in you both a greater love in you both a greater reflection of the love of life in you both in a holy love affair between body,
Heart,
Soul of man and the body,
Heart and can you increase the love even more so that your heart grows physically bigger and the light in your heart grows spiritually brighter soaking in divine light and reflecting out divine light and choose to see that light shattering the klipot,
The hard shells around your heart and the hard structures around this stone see them crumble with the call of your love like the walls of Jericho crumbled with the sound of the shofar as you breathe in even more light and shine out even more love and as your heart bursts out of the shackles of these shells so too this stone can burst out of the shackles of its own shells so one last time,
Crank up the volume on the light on the love and on the love of life in your heart and turn your hands outwards and feel that light bursting out of your heart and through your arms and out of your hands towards this holy place and feel your light bursting right out of your heart and right into this stone and feel your light bursting out of the pores of your face and smile a blessing upon Jerusalem that it return back to its glory that it evolve into its promise of being Ir Shalem,
The city of peace and that it become the beacon on the hill that we've all been waiting for and knowing that you have the power to fill yourself with light and love I invite you to come back to your body by wiggling your fingers and wiggling your toes and batting your eyes open ready to bless the world with the light and love of Jerusalem
