Experience the profound Jewish wisdom of becoming a channel for healing in this transformative meditation guided by Chana Mason. Drawing from the essential Jewish teaching that we are designed to be "a light unto the world," Chana reveals how directing healing energy toward others creates a divine flow that naturally returns to heal ourselves. Through gentle breathing techniques and heart-centered visualization, this 25-minute practice guides you to embody the sacred four-letter name of God (yud-hay-vav-hay) as a powerful conduit for compassion and healing. As Chana teaches, "When you are seeking healing, if you focus on others who need healing and send them light, for that healing to come to those people, it has to flow through you first."

This recording begins with a lesson.

To skip to the meditation,

Go to 5 minutes and 50 seconds.

Hello Precious One.

We have an understanding in the Jewish tradition that it is our task to be a light onto the world.

To be a pipeline for love and abundance and healing and wisdom.

And because that is our task,

We are designed to move energy rather than to seek to receive and hold onto it.

What that means is that if there is a time in your life where you're experiencing suffering or challenges or a lack.

.

.

Even though what you want to do is pray for what you need and seek to receive that and hold onto it.

.

.

The best way to actually be a channel of all of that healing and love and abundance that you're seeking.

.

.

Is not to pray for yourself,

Which of course you're always welcome to do.

.

.

But if you want the optimal flow to make its way through you,

Is to pray for someone else.

So when you are seeking healing,

If you focus on other people who you know who need healing.

.

.

And you send them light and healing vibes and you bless them with healing from on high.

.

.

Then in order for that healing to come to those people,

It has to flow through you first.

So what you ask for others also comes back to you.

It's one of the most beautiful expressions of the golden rule.

That which you would like to see happening to yourself,

Do to others.

So if you want healing,

Offer healing to others.

If you want abundance,

Pray for the abundance of others.

If you want love,

Seek out ways to bring love into the lives of others.

So in this meditation,

I'm going to invite you to really visualize someone in your life who you know needs healing.

.

.

And allow yourself to be that vessel for healing,

Light,

And love for this other beautiful soul that you care about so deeply.

And I bless you that in so doing,

You experience more and more healing in your own life.

One way that you can be a channel for healing is by allowing the divine name of compassion to inhabit you and to radiate out of you.

We'll be using the four-letter name of the divine made up of the Hebrew letters Yud,

He,

Vav,

And He.

Which when put in a vertical line,

Create the shape of the human body.

The head made up of the Yud,

The shoulders and arms creating the He,

The spine creating that line of the Vav,

And the hips and legs creating that last He.

If you are not familiar with what these letters look like,

I recommend that you look them up before continuing with the meditation.

Allow these letters to inhabit you because you were created in the image of the divine.

And as the divine has the capacity to heal,

You have the capacity precious one,

To be a channel of healing for the world.

I invite you to find a comfortable seat and close your eyes.

Become aware of the Nishmat Chaim,

Of the breath of life.

It's making its way in and out of your lungs in this moment and this moment.

Allow yourself to experience how the magic of Chaim,

Of the life force,

Is alive in you.

And place one or both of your hands over your heart and feel how the divine is pumping that breath of life into every fiber of your being.

Bringing an ease and a relaxation to all of your being.

Relaxing your head,

Softening the muscles of your neck and shoulders.

And bringing a heaviness down your arms all the way to the tips of your fingers.

And as you breathe more,

Feel that relaxation washing over your shoulders and down your back.

Relaxing all of the muscles of your upper back and feel it washing over your chest and belly.

Loosening and relaxing all of the organs there.

And with three audible sighs,

I invite you to feel that relaxation even more deeply.

Breathing in,

Breathing in,

And one last time.

And feel how those sighs have softened and unlocked your hips to wash over your legs to your knees.

This softening into this breath,

Into the aliveness that you are,

Into the gift of life that you inhabit.

And now I invite you to imagine in front of you a beloved person in your life who is in need of healing.

The love that you have for this person.

And allow yourself to turn up the volume on that love.

And turn it up even more.

And feel the qualities you appreciate about this soul.

Their gifts.

And relish in that for a moment.

Connecting your soul to their soul.

Your life force.

And ask yourself,

What would this person gain from a complete healing?

How would the world gain from their complete healing?

And imagine that.

See this soul filled with vitality,

Filled with love,

And filled with light.

And see that vitality radiating out of this person's being.

And touching everyone they meet.

See this soul lighting up the world.

And the joy of that.

This vision,

And knowing that such a vision can manifest into full reality.

I invite you to bless your beloved with the light of the divine.

By being a conduit of the divine name.

So imagine above the crown of your head is the four letter name of God.

And open the crown of your head to invite those letters to fully inhabit your being.

Because you,

Precious one,

Were created in the image of the divine.

So beginning with the Yud,

Feel it coming in through the crown of your head.

And filling your head with a light so radiant that it can't help but shine out of the pores of your face and onto the face of your beloved.

That it can't help but bring a smile onto your face and onto the face of your beloved.

And next,

Feel the first hay coming in through the crown of your head and making its way down until the top of the hay meets you between the shoulders.

And the legs of the hay fill your arms with a light so radiant that it can't help but burst out of the palms of your hands.

So I invite you to lift up your hands and have them face out towards your beloved.

So that this divine light can shine right into their palms.

And feel the Vav coming in through the crown of your head and slipping beautifully into your spine.

And feel that light radiating out of your spine and filling your entire torso with the light of love that bursts out of your heart right into the heart of your beloved.

Filling their entire torso with the light of healing.

And feel that last hay coming in through the crown of your head and make its way down until the top of the hay meets you between the hips.

And the legs of the hay fill your legs with the light so radiant that it can't help but burst out of the bottoms of your feet into the bottoms of the feet of your beloved.

Filling their legs with this divine healing light.

So here you are,

A conduit of yud and hay and of a light that shines out of your face,

Your palms,

And compassion to your beloved.

And knowing that your hands are a conduit for blessing.

To bless your beloved in your own words.

And thank this soul for bringing you to this meditation.

For helping you become a channel for healing.

That brings light onto the world and also onto yourself.

And now I invite you to bring those beautiful hands of yours back to your precious heart.

And thank yourself for showing up today.

And thank your heart for loving you today.

And thank the divine for so easily offering an abundance of light to this world.

By slowly wiggling your fingers and wiggling your toes.

And batting your eyes open,

Ready to bless the world with your gaze.

Sending you blessings from Jerusalem.
