Welcome family.
Please take a few moments to just settle in,
Whether lying down or seated with back support.
Any organic movement that helps you to find stillness just a little more comfortably.
As you arrive at that still place,
Just taking one deep cleansing breath,
Full belly inhale through the nose and just sigh out the mouth.
Returning to your natural normal breath.
As you settle into stillness and calm,
Begin to visualize yourself walking down a quiet path through a calm forest.
Feel how the earth is layered with thick moss supporting every step you take.
Ancient towering trees provide a canopy of safety,
Allowing soft filtered light to reach the forest floor.
All around the path grows an abundant diversity of ferns that softly sway in the wind,
Almost as if nurturing and guiding you along your way.
Every shade of green is glistening and softly illuminating all around you.
Even the air itself has a gentle sparkle to it.
High up in the canopy of the trees echo a harmonious bird song.
Filling every cell of your body with this deep sense of peace and safety.
With each step,
You feel grounded and connected to the earth underneath your feet.
With every breath,
You feel the abundant support of all of life around you.
As you continue down the path,
You begin to hear the soft,
Gentle flow of water up ahead.
Soon you arrive at the banks of a peaceful river.
And as you approach the river,
You can feel its depth and its strength.
Yet how it also flows so gently,
So calmly.
Each individual drop of water unified and connected does not rush.
You find the perfect spot to sit alongside the river with your bare feet in the water.
As every cell of your being is filled with this deep and profound nourishment,
You feel as the water is the perfect temperature.
As all of the muscles around your toes and feet go smooth and relaxed.
Almost as if time itself is standing still.
This moment,
This time and place so perfect,
So at ease,
Lacking nothing.
With each breath,
Your entire being settles deeper and more comfortably into the support of the river bank and into embodied presence.
It becomes more evident that you have arrived at a very sacred place.
You feel in your heart that this river is not just here,
But it is here for you.
And for this very moment,
You can feel how this river is carrying,
Holding,
Holding all of the pieces that before felt broken.
All of the shadows mired in shame.
Each of them now completely held,
Abundantly supported.
Now feeling so profoundly at ease,
Overcome with such peace.
You begin to feel any and all of the resistance and resentment which you've been so long carrying.
All of it now beginning to softly loosen.
That which was before rejected and suppressed is now welcomed,
Honored,
And even celebrated.
Perhaps a specific memory or emotion that has come into your awareness where you now shift your focus.
Just continuing to feel this softening.
Whether in one specific space or throughout your entire being,
You intuitively open your hands as you would the pages of a book.
With each deep,
Steady breath,
You feel all of the resistance,
Resentment,
Fear,
And shame that was before deeply rooted.
All of it now unchained,
Untethered,
Floating light as a feather within you as tiny specks of charcoal dust.
With each inhale,
These specks of dust very gently lift up into your chest.
And with each exhale,
They flow calmly down your arms and begin to swirl above your open hands.
Taking several more slow,
Deep breaths,
Each one gracefully drawing the charcoal specks up into your chest and then slowly down into your hands where they begin to gather in a soft,
Smooth,
Either to yourself or out loud.
All of that which I've carried.
I thank all of it for their invaluable lessons and guidance.
And now I am ready to release all which no longer serve me now to their highest good.
With your next exhale,
Gently lower your hands down into the water and allow the river to transmute the charcoal dust into radiant gold flakes.
As the river then gently carries them away,
Not hurry,
Not in any rush,
Graciously flowing exactly where they were always meant to be.
Bringing your awareness back into your body.
Embracing this lightness and radiance,
Which you have now cultivated once more,
Giving homage to all of the hardships,
Trials,
And lessons,
Which have built you into this beautiful,
Incredible person,
Which you are today.
As you thank yourself for truly showing and giving yourself this profound gift of expression and release,
Taking one final cleansing breath at your pace.
Once more,
Deep belly,
Inhale through the nose and just sighing it out the mouth.
Bring awareness back into the physical body.
Wiggling fingers,
Toes,
Very gently side to side.
If it feels good to reach the arms up and back for a nice big morning stretch.
Releasing the arms back by your side.
As you feel ready,
Allowing the eyes to gently flutter back open.
As you arrive fully in this new found sense of truth,
Lightness,
And presence.
