Please find a comfortable place to lie down.
As you do,
Finding any organic movement that helps you to settle in just a little more comfortably.
And as you find stillness in your own perfect time,
Shifting your attention into just noticing your natural,
Normal breath.
Using this gentle focus of the breath to fully bring your attention inward.
Consciously setting off to the side all of those external expectations,
Responsibilities,
Relationships that are typically competing for the attention of the mind.
Really allowing yourself to arrive fully present.
In this practice,
We will be using deep,
Expansive breaths in and out through the mouth.
Using all of your energy and effort on a deep,
Almost obnoxious inhale.
And then just a passive release through your exhale.
No work on the exhale at all.
A continuous breath with no pauses in between.
All right,
Let's take one deep,
Expansive breath together and then we'll settle into the active breath.
So at your pace,
Finding a full deep belly inhale.
And then exhale,
Just letting it go.
Easing into the active breath.
Using this first minute or two to find a depth and pace that feels sustainable for you.
Yet still expanding as deeply into the belly as you can.
Maybe feeling each inhale,
Lift,
Expand and reach out through the entire torso and belly just a little more.
As you settle into the practice,
Really try to notice what starts to come up for you.
Whether it's physical,
Energetic or emotional,
Everything from the tingling,
Buzzing and pulsing sensations to any specific emotions or any spaces of the body where you feel your energy shifting more intensely.
It's perfectly natural for the mind to want to avoid these shifts in awareness.
So no judgment when you notice it doing so.
Just keep coming back.
Coming back to full deep belly breaths and allowing yourself to sit with whatever is in your experience.
With whatever is in the forefront of your awareness.
Trusting that whatever that is,
It is the teacher that life and source has selected for you in this moment.
Feeling how these which the mind finds uncomfortable and often wants to avoid are actually here to serve you as a guiding light.
Feeling how that which often creates confusion is actually here for you in service of everything you seek.
Over these next several minutes,
This is your opportunity to shift what has before felt like confusion now into a catalyst for real growth and expansion.
For from where does your confusion arise?
Why is it here?
What does it want?
Surely I tell you,
It is rooted in your desire to know truth,
To experience truth.
This feeling,
This constant wondering where,
Why,
How.
It may mask itself as confusion,
But truthfully it means that you have arrived as a seeker,
As a student of truth.
It's not here to punish you,
Even as painful as it may feel at times.
This confusion is your stepping stone,
But you have to use it.
It is yours to take.
You have to make a conscious intentional decision to take each and every step.
The path has been laid for you through this mask of confusion,
But it is yours and yours alone to walk it.
It is there for you.
Yes,
The path may be unclear and there may be many more steps than you can even count.
All the questions begin to arise through worry and concern.
What if I don't have the strength to take each step?
What if I stray from the path or lose it altogether?
These questions may feel as if they will linger forever,
Cultivating in a state of paralysis as if you were stuck in quicksand,
Even when all you yearn for is to move.
This is the moment.
This is the time to really remember all of which we worry exists only in the future and therefore only in the mind.
This is the time to look down beneath you,
See and feel the ground which you are rooted in and see that which is truly real,
Which is the step that is right in front of you right now.
Beneath the haze of worry of the future and regret of the past,
Beneath all of it lies one true step.
The one that is right here,
Right in front of you.
It is all and everything that is real.
Truth of presence is what cultivates clarity.
Confusion is a seed planted in the heart of those who truly seek,
For without it there is no guiding light.
And now is the time to shift perspective and truly give thanks for this divine guidance.
Alright family,
On my count we're gonna take in one final deep expansive inhale together and then we're gonna hold that breath at the top.
Alright on my count,
Last inhale in three,
Two,
One.
Holding at the top,
Engaging in this hold,
Squeezing your in your core,
Squeezing your fist,
Bringing into your awareness right now the greatest confusion or struggle that you are working through in your life in this moment.
And seeing it now as a glowing luminous red ball of light in and around your root center.
And instead of embracing the guilt and shame that are generated from the mind and the ego,
Now in this time really see it.
See it for what it truly is as your guiding light.
And therefore now wrapping your arms around this ball of light and embracing it,
Saying thank you.
Thank you for showing me my path.
Thank you for being my guiding light.
I will no longer reject your guidance and support but now embrace and give thanks for it.
With that I consciously call in the clarity that comes with this acceptance.
The peace that grows from embracing my path and no longer rejecting it.
And therefore I am ready to release you to your highest good and let it all go.
Exhale just let it go.
Let it go.
One deep full belly inhale.
Once more side out let it go.
Returning to your natural normal breath.
Deep steady breaths in and out through the nose.
Continuing to embrace everything that's in your awareness.
Trusting that it is there for you.
Trusting that confusion is not a dilemma to be solved or an obstacle to be overcame but a sacred passage set in the heart to lead us to the truth that we seek.
It is the lantern of the heart.
Uncomfortable and illuminating yes but necessary.
They're guiding us towards deeper understanding and divine clarity.
Once you feel ready and only once you feel ready gently bringing awareness back into the physical body.
Creating movement first in the fingers,
Toes,
Then ankles,
Wrists,
Maybe nodding the head side to side.
When you feel ready allowing the eyes to flutter open as you embrace and settle consciously into this newfound true deep sense of clarity.
