Here's a short parable from the Sufi tradition about the "wise fool," Nasrudin. This little story illustrates the power of looking inward and trusting your intuition versus following only "where the light is" (e.g., the rules and traditions of society, work, family, etc.). I believe you can be a light unto yourself, and hopefully, this message can be a useful reminder of where we all may really need to look for the deepest answers.

Gorgeous short story, thank you for sharing. I recently (and literally) lost my keys on a beach that I walk on everyday, and gave up searching for them after a couple of hours, thinking I’d never see them again. Fortunately, a kind stranger stumbled across them and they were returned to me. It made me think of the role the friend plays in the story. Sometimes we need others to help us find our keys. Perhaps connection is the key to everything…

I love this short story. Nasrudin's tale beautifully highlights that life is a rollercoaster adventure, full of peaks and troughs that shape our experiences. 🖤🤍❤️ Thank you, Charles. 🙏 🌻🕊️❤️
