All right,

So sitting up straight,

Pushing the crown of the head up towards the ceiling.

And then go ahead and notice how the body and the mind already know this meditation and already start settling in.

Okay,

We're going to start with three really deep breaths.

Go ahead and inhale,

Super,

Super deep.

Retain the breath below the navel.

And exhale,

Extending out the exhale.

Now one more time,

Inhale,

Exhale,

Retain the breath.

And exhale.

Now one more time,

Super deep inhale.

Retain the breath below the navel.

And exhale.

Now we're just going to do some shoulder rolls.

We're going to coordinate the breath with the shoulder movement.

So inhale as you bring the shoulders towards the ears.

And then once you've ended the inhale,

Retain the breath.

And then all the while,

Feel the whole body.

And now exhale.

And as you exhale,

You slowly bring the shoulders back down to the normal position and really extend the length of the exhale.

Feel the body the whole while.

Now inhale once again.

The shoulders come up towards the ears.

And retain the breath.

And exhale,

Extending the length of the exhale,

Feeling the whole body as the shoulders drop.

And just inhale one more time.

The shoulders come up towards the ears,

Feeling the whole body as you inhale.

Retain the breath.

And now exhale,

Bending out the exhale,

Dropping the shoulders.

Okay,

So now we're going to go through a body scan.

And we're going to be inhabiting the body,

Feeling the body versus matter,

Material,

And as energy,

And then as consciousness.

Bring your attention to the feet,

Being aware of the feet.

And now inhabit the feet.

And notice how that feels different than to just be aware of the feet.

Inhabit the feet as matter,

Materiality.

And now inhabit the feet as energy.

And now move to the legs.

And inhabit the legs as material,

As matter.

Now as energy.

And now inhabit the legs as consciousness.

Now move to the hips,

The pelvis,

Pelvic floor.

Inhabit this area.

So locate the sense of self in the hips,

Pelvis,

Pelvis floor.

And now inhabit this area as matter,

Material.

Solidity.

And now as energy.

Now as consciousness.

And now notice the abdomen rising and falling.

And now inhabit the abdomen as self,

The feet of the self.

Now emphasizing the aspect of materiality.

And now as energy.

And now as consciousness.

Now as consciousness.

Now as energy.

And now moving to the chest and inhabiting the chest,

First as material matter.

And now as energy.

So inhabiting the chest as energy.

Now inhabiting the chest as energy.

Now inhabiting the chest as consciousness.

Now inhabiting the chest as energy.

Now moving up to the shoulders and upper back.

Inhabiting this area as matter,

Material.

Now moving to the chest as energy.

Now moving up to the shoulders as energy.

Now moving up to the shoulders as energy.

Now moving up to the shoulders as energy.

Now moving up to the shoulders as energy.

And now feeling the arms and hands.

Inhabiting the arms and hands.

Feeling the arms and hands as material.

Now moving up to the shoulders as energy.

Now moving up to the shoulders as energy.

Now as consciousness.

Now moving up to the shoulders as energy.

Now moving on to the neck and the throat.

Inhabiting the neck and the throat.

Now inhabiting the neck and the throat as matter,

As material.

Now moving up to the shoulders as energy.

Now as fundamental consciousness.

Now moving up to the shoulders as energy.

Now moving up to the shoulders as energy.

Brain.
