Transcript

Welcome to your Mind High Club guided connection meditation.

Together we will explore our deep sense of connection with the world around us and all that is,

Knowing that we are never truly alone.

Make sure you're seated in a comfortable position with your back straight and feet planted firmly on the ground.

Gently close your eyes and take three slow deep breaths.

Now relax your forehead.

Feel how heavy your eyelids are.

Relax your jaw,

Releasing any tension in your neck and relax your shoulders.

Feel all of the tension release from your body.

Relax your chest,

Relax your hips,

Letting the seat carry the full weight of your body.

Relax your legs and now releasing all remaining tension out the soles of your feet.

Know that you're safe,

Grounded and protected.

Bring yourself completely into this present moment.

Bring your attention to the breath.

Become aware of the air flowing effortlessly in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Feel it brushing your lungs and chest.

Notice the subtle sensations in your nostrils as the breath flows in and out gently and effortlessly.

Notice any sensations in your body,

Feeling the atmosphere around you,

Any sensations on your skin,

The feeling of your clothes on your body.

Acknowledge everything your body is doing in this moment to support you and give you life.

Feel your feet grounded firmly on the floor.

Feel them connected to the earth.

Notice the warmth and energy and the space that connects the soles of your feet to the earth.

Bring your awareness to your hip region,

Feeling your body heavy in your seat.

Feel a golden healing light flow through your hip region,

About as wide as your hips.

Streaming all the way down your legs,

Through the soles of your feet,

Traveling several meters below your feet,

Below the surface of the earth.

Penetrating through all the layers of the earth,

Connecting all the way to the deep core of the earth.

Feel into this connection to the earth,

Allowing it to anchor and ground you.

Now picture yourself walking on a sunlit path towards a beautiful tree with vibrant dancing leaves.

Breathe in the fresh air,

Watching the tree's leaves rustle in the wind and hearing the breeze tickle the trees.

As you approach the tree,

Feel the earth under your feet,

The soil,

The fresh smell of the grass,

The crunch of the leaves.

Feel the roots of the tree beneath you as you lower yourself to the earth,

Lying down on the grass under the tree,

Placing your head at its base.

As you lay there,

Sheltered by the tree,

Feel how the oxygen from the tree supports you,

Just as you support the tree with the air you breathe out.

Feel the sun on your skin,

Knowing that the sun gives life to everything on the planet.

Take a few moments here to lay completely relaxed in the tree's shade,

Soaking up the beauty of nature.

Feeling completely relaxed,

Resting under the shade of the tree,

Feel the breeze and rustle of the leaves.

Completely supported and held by nature,

Feel the sense of connection to all that is.

Send gratitude to nature for all that it provides you,

The air that you breathe,

The ground beneath you,

The water you drink,

The food that nourishes you.

Stay here resting,

Feeling the breath gently flow in,

And letting go of the burden of the past.

Stay here resting,

Feeling the breath gently flow in and out of your nostrils.

Nowhere to go,

Nowhere to be.

Notice how the deep roots of the tree connect with all the other trees around it,

Weaving a system of interconnectedness and community.

You are a part of that connection.

Bring your awareness to the food you had to eat today.

Become aware of all the people that harvested or farmed it,

And all the people involved in transporting it,

Bringing it to you to enjoy.

A whole group of people work together daily with nature to bring you the food you need to nourish your body and thrive.

A whole community of people working together to help support you.

Now bring your awareness to the clothes you're wearing while lying under the tree.

Become aware of the person who created that piece of clothing,

Cutting the fabric,

Sewing it together,

And sending it off to eventually reach you.

Think of all the people that were involved in designing the piece of clothing and bringing it to life,

All the way from design to production to a store,

Maybe to the person who sold it to you,

Into your home,

And then onto your body.

Notice how many people were involved to create that piece of clothing for you that warms your body.

Notice how through any given item that's in your house,

Just like this,

You are deeply interconnected with hundreds,

Thousands of people,

Sending waves of gratitude to all the people that work every day to bring you all your daily needs.

Send waves of gratitude for all the groups of people dedicating themselves to care for you when you're sick,

Offer support when you're lost,

Or give you advice and guidance.

Notice how interconnected we all are with nature.

Feel the deep sense of connection we all share.

And bringing your awareness back into the body,

Becoming aware of your inner body.

Connect with each cell in your body.

Notice the sensations of vibrating energy throughout your body.

Now become aware that on a microscopic level,

You and everything around you is deeply connected as one vibrating energy.

Feel your connection to the universe and the earth around you as one.

Know that you are never truly alone and you are always connected.

Stay here for a few moments,

Breathing into the feeling of connection.

You are one with the world.

You are connected to all that is.

And now,

Taking one last deep breath.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes and enjoy the rest of your day with a deeper sense of connection.
