Welcome to your Mind High Club meditation for embracing change.
Today,
Together we will explore what it feels like to be grounded and supported in life,
Open,
Accepting and flowing with the changes that come our way.
Gently close your eyes and take three slow,
Deep breaths.
Now relax your forehead.
Feel how heavy your eyelids are.
Relax your jaw.
Release any tension you're holding in your neck.
Relax your shoulders.
Feel all the tension release from your body,
Flowing down from your chest through your hips,
Letting the seat carry the full weight of your body,
Relaxing your legs and releasing all the tension out the soles of your feet.
Know that you're safe here,
Grounded and supported.
Bring yourself completely to the present.
Bring your attention to the breath.
Just simply notice it flowing gently in and out of your body.
Bring your awareness to the air flowing easily in and out of your nose.
Feel it flow through and brushing your lungs and chest.
Notice the subtle sensations in your nostrils as the breath flows in and out,
Gently,
Effortlessly.
Know that you are safe here.
As you breathe in,
Notice how each in-breath brings life to your body.
And with each out-breath,
Feel all the tension release from your body.
You are connected with life and all that is around you,
Supporting,
Holding,
Grounding you.
Change is like the air you breathe.
And knowing this,
Feel your breath flow all the way down to your belly,
Feeling it expand with the fullness of your breath and then releasing it slowly.
Feel yourself grounded,
Protected and centered.
You are here and this time and place,
Completely in the present.
Become aware of the change you are currently facing in your life.
Notice any thoughts or emotions that come up.
Without judging them,
Just allow them to be.
Let yourself know that it's okay to have these thoughts and feelings.
Simply observe them and just watch them pass by,
Like you're watching clouds float across the sky.
Let go of any temptation to try to suppress or control your thoughts and feelings.
You are safe to just simply be here.
Breathe into the flow of life,
Knowing that the changes life brings are like the air you breathe,
Flowing,
Transforming and changing,
But always complete and full of life.
Let all of the tension and worry flow out of your body and out of the soles of your feet.
Let it all go and open yourself to the possibility of life.
Now,
Letting go of all resistance to what is.
Feel yourself fully in this moment.
Breathe into the flow of all that is.
Allow yourself to let go and trust that life will support you.
And whenever you feel worried that life may not be flowing for you as you navigate change,
Remind yourself to embody the energy of water,
Fluid and soft,
Flowing with life,
But strong enough to wear away mountains.
And now feeling back into your body,
Only when you're ready,
Open your eyes and enjoy the rest of your day.
