Finding a comfortable position,
Knowing you can always shift if needed,
I invite you to take a nice big deep breath in through your nose and let it out of your mouth with an audible sigh.
Closing your eyes if it's comfortable.
Begin to settle into your space,
Maybe taking note of the sensation of gravity holding you in place and the surface below you supporting you in this moment.
This is always an anchor you can return to.
And as you rest here,
Just notice your breath coming in and out of your body,
Feeling the rhythm that exists.
Your body is an incredible machine of repair and renewal.
Right now,
Inside of you,
Tiny cells are working together,
Mending,
Rebuilding,
And healing.
Tissues are coming back together,
Blood vessels are reconnecting,
Muscles are realigning.
Thousands of tiny cells working together.
And imagining for a moment that you are fully healed.
What can you see yourself doing?
Maybe returning to your favorite sport or exercise,
Walking or riding a bike down a sunny street,
Hanging out with friends,
Listening to or dancing to music,
Playing a musical instrument,
Going about your day,
Moving with strength and confidence.
Selecting one activity that you know that you'll do and feel the joy of being completely well and making it happen.
Picture yourself doing it.
All of those cells that add up to your body are creating a path right now with every breath,
With every moment of rest toward this destination.
See yourself well.
And let's breathe together here for five more breaths.
And returning your attention back to that sensation of gravity holding you in place in the surface supporting every ounce of your body.
I invite you to close this practice with a nice big inhale through your nose and an audible sigh out of your mouth.
Opening your eyes if they were closed and coming back to this space.
