Transcript

Welcome to the stress reset practice.

Today we are going to focus on the sense of touch using the hands and the arms taking a moment Get any last movement out Knowing that you can always shift if needed.

I invite you to settle in and close your eyes Or drop your gaze towards the floor if it works for your body And as you begin to settle in noticing your feet on the floor and the weight of your body on the surface below Also noticing that surface Supporting you at this moment This is always an anchor you can return to if at any point The practice becomes uncomfortable and resting here.

I invite you to gently begin to rub your palms of your hands together As if you are washing them back and forth or in gentle circles Whatever shape you desire experimenting with rubbing them slowly or quickly and then releasing that I invite you to place your right hand under your left armpit and Wrap your left hand around your right shoulder Giving yourself a bit of a hug and resting here.

Maybe noticing the edges of your body and Breathing together.

We will rest here for three more breaths and then returning your attention to your feet on the floor The weight of your body on the surface below you and the sense of that surface supporting you in this moment I invite you to close the practice with a big inhale through your nose and an audible sigh out of your mouth Eyes when you're ready.

Thank you
