These affirmations bring about acceptance, self-compassion, strength, and free will. We touch on your gifts of your beautiful self to help raise confidence and self-love. We also touch on physical health and the ways you tend to your body through supportive nourishment. We move into affirmations for love and forgiveness of those who have hurt you. We touch on affirmations of inner peace, fullness, and freedom, and in the end, there is space for you to create your own affirmations. These gentle words are supported by a calming piano track. Welcome to these affirmations for addiction.

To begin,

Slowly bring awareness to your breath,

Allow it to flow freely and gently,

Extending to your whole body as you relax and allow your tension to melt away.

Extending your breath,

You invite your mind to release any toxic thoughts that are not serving your highest good.

Feel a softness on the top of your head as your mind becomes open to accepting and creating new pathways.

Repeat,

See in your mind or feel these words after me.

I am all that I am.

I accept myself for all that I am.

I am enough.

I am strong-willed and power-filled.

I create all that I wish to create in my life.

I am the artist painting the canvas of my life's work.

I appreciate the many gifts that I bring to the people I care for.

I appreciate the joy I bring to others.

I appreciate all that I am.

I nourish my body by feeding it healthy foods and liquids.

My body is deserving of nourishment.

I am deserving of nourishment.

I choose to nourish healthy thoughts of positivity and love.

I believe in myself fully.

I live in the present moment.

I choose to find the good in all situations.

I access my joy in the present moment.

I find peace in this moment.

I find peace within chaotic moments.

There is always peace to be found within me.

I live with an open heart.

I give love to myself and others.

I am free to create all that I desire,

All that I wish.

I forgive myself for any pain I've caused to myself and others.

I forgive others who have hurt me.

I live from a place of love for myself and all others.

I live in fullness.

I am full of love.

I am full of peace.

I am full of joy.

I am kind to myself.

I take care of myself.

I am worthy of love.

Wonderful.

Take a moment to create your own affirmations that feel blissful and in alignment for you now.

Allow the corners of your mouth to stretch upwards to the sky as joy radiates from your core.

Thank you so much for doing this powerful work today and feeding the thoughts that you wish to nourish.

I'm coming back to these affirmations every now and then, they're like a moment of peace and rest, like a sanctuary for me. πŸ™β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

I played this for my partner who struggles with addiction, and he said this loosened his skepticism regarding affirmations and made him feel more confident about his ability to overcome his addiction and love himself. From my perspective, it was beautiful to see him go from saying the affirmations quietly and with little belief behind the statements to saying them loudly and confidently by the end of the track. Thank you so muchπŸ’—πŸ₯°
