One of the definitions of mantra is a mystical formula of invocation.
And in this meditation,
You'll have the opportunity to create,
To write your own mantra,
A prayer you can take with you into your day.
Get comfortable,
Either seated or lying down,
And really settle into your body.
Allow your mind to relax.
Any thoughts,
Let them drift by like soft clouds.
You don't have to attach to them or judge them or try to change them.
Just notice them.
Allow them to float by.
This is your time.
This is your time that you give to your precious self.
Gently shift your attention to your breath.
As you did your thoughts,
You're just noticing your breath without trying to change.
Just notice,
Without judgment,
Just notice.
Notice the rising of your belly as you breathe in and the gentle falling as you exhale.
Gently focus your attention to your heart,
Your beating heart,
Your precious magical heart.
It is the heart that is the center for intuitive intelligence.
Your heart sends information to your brain.
It affects your thinking.
Your heart's magnetic field communicates to all the cells in your body,
And it reaches into your life and affects those around you.
Breathe into this powerful beating heart of yours.
Feel into the magic of your heart.
Gently shift your attention to your breath,
Your breath without trying to change.
From this place,
From this powerful heart energy,
Ask yourself,
What do I desire today?
What do I desire today?
Now,
Take what it is that you desire and put it into a phrase that you can declare to the universe as your mantra.
If you want more love in your life,
You might say,
I am open and receiving great love.
If you want to feel peace within your body,
You might say,
I am happy and I love my body.
If you want to feel financial security,
You might declare,
I have everything I need to live my most abundant life.
Maybe you're looking for ease in your life,
Flow,
So you might say,
Everything goes my way.
Everything goes my way.
Take a moment and design your personal mantra,
Knowing that every day you can rewrite your mantra.
Every day you can have your own personal mantra for that day,
Or you can use the same mantra every day.
Breathe into this,
Your personal mantra,
And let it be your day.
You may want to write your mantra down and have access to it.
Either way,
May whatever you wish for flow into your life as if by magic.
