Desire. Passion. Truth. When you are truly connected to your desire you ignite your passion and align with your truth. In other words, you align head and heart. In this meditation, you'll have the opportunity to allow your heart to guide you toward your deepest and most true desires. I will offer journal prompts throughout, so you might want to have a journal nearby. (This is not mandatory.) It is best to listen with headphones.

Desire,

Passion and Truth.

When you tap into what you truly desire,

Your heart's desire,

You will feel a spark that is your passion.

And it is this passion that will drive you forward.

It'll be the gas in your engine and the smile on your face.

And it will inform you every day,

Letting you know that you're on the right track.

And it is your passion coupled with your desire that will lead you to your truth.

And in this meditation,

We'll journal on these topics.

Sometimes our desires are buried.

They're buried under other beliefs,

Other desires that we think we should be moving toward.

But instead,

They've been implanted in us by our teachers and our mentors,

Not with bad intention necessarily,

Just because that's how life is sometimes.

So don't be so hard on yourself as you move through this meditation,

Remembering you can do it again and again if you wish.

For you,

It may be the beginning of the excavation of your desires.

Or maybe you've been at this for a while and you know what your desire is.

You're just reigniting your passion,

Checking in again.

Wherever you are in your process,

Let's practice together.

So with your journal by your side or not,

You may just want to listen.

There's no right way to do this.

Let's get started.

So gently closing your eyes.

And before you even take a breath,

Just notice where you are physically,

Emotionally,

Mentally in this moment,

Just witnessing.

And now taking in a deep,

Deep,

Deep breath,

Releasing and noticing,

Breathing in and breathing.

One more deep breath in and let it go.

Notice that sometimes all you need to make a shift is one breath,

One moment.

Let's now move your attention to your heart,

Your beating heart.

You may want to bring your hands to your heart as you breathe into your unique heart,

Feeling your heartbeat breathe into your heart.

And as you breathe into your heart,

I invite you to think about joy,

The things in your life that bring you joy,

Not the things that help you earn money,

Not the things that you think you should do.

If you had all the time in the world,

These are the things you would do with that time.

It could be anything painting,

Hiking,

Writing,

Sailing,

Sewing,

Making clothes.

It could be anything.

There are no wrong answers here.

And don't overthink this.

Let these things come to you.

Let's do some writing.

Here's your first journal prompt.

What is it my heart is telling me in this moment?

What is my heart telling me in this moment?

Or what does my heart want me to know in this moment?

I'll give you a little bit of time to write and I'll be back.

When we're not in alignment or tapped into our desire,

We might feel it in our bodies.

We might feel tension or pain or hurt of some kind,

Emotional or otherwise.

And so your next journal prompt is what is my body telling me in this moment?

What is my body telling me in this moment?

Now that your heart and your body have informed you,

Let's take it one step further and explore where you might be holding back.

What aren't you saying out loud into the world?

Something I have been afraid to tell others I truly desire is something I've been afraid to tell others I truly desire is.

And without overthinking it,

Your next prompt is I am ready to receive.

You might be ready to receive next steps.

You might be ready to receive what it is you truly desire.

There's no right or no wrong answer to this prompt.

I am ready to receive.

You've listened to your heart.

You've listened to your body.

You've explored your desire.

And you've been honest with yourself about what it is you aren't saying out loud into the world about what it is you truly desire.

It is through this process that you begin to align head and heart.

And it is from this place that you can ask yourself,

What's next?

One actionable step I can take towards this desire is,

Or another way to put it is,

My next right action is.

And that right action may be an actual action,

Or it might be turning toward yourself and being still.

Only you can determine what your next right action will be.

And you'll know it's the right action because you will feel it.

You'll feel it in your body.

You'll feel it in your heart.

And this is what it means to be aligned head and heart,

Passion,

Desire,

Truth.

So writing down my one actionable step I can take towards my desire is,

Or my next right action is.

And I'll leave you here knowing that you can come back and do this meditation over and over again.

That you can always reconnect with your desire,

Ignite your passion,

And find your truth.
