A Peaceful Meditation

Hi,

This is Carolyn.

Today we're going to do a meditation for peace.

I hope this provides you with a very kind and calm place to go back to when you're going through a really difficult time or you just want to connect to peace.

To get started,

Sit down with your feet flat on the floor,

Back straight,

And we're going to start with some deep breaths.

So breathe in,

Hold,

And breathe out.

Breathe in,

Hold,

And breathe out.

Breathe in,

Hold,

And release.

So focusing on the heart center,

We're going to imagine there's a golden light there that represents like a sun.

That's the light within you.

That's the light of your spirit who resonates with the energy of peace.

So every time you think of that golden light in your heart,

You're going to feel the energy of peace coming upon you.

That peace is like the morning sun that's so quiet,

But strong and energetic.

That peace is like a sunset that's just focused and beautiful and pretty much in the moment.

So focus on that golden light in your heart and take a breath in and out and feel peace.

The energy of peace is actually a vibration.

It's something that you can tune into.

Let's break down peace apart to know what are the different aspects of it.

Starting with the letter P.

Peace is prayerful.

So when you're in a prayerful moment,

It's good to be in a space of peace.

Being prayerful means asking and also praying in gratitude for what will come upon you,

For what you may be searching for.

When you pray,

Pray in the energy of peace.

That peace that passes all understanding.

Just saying a prayer and being in the moment will give you a sense of peace.

Good.

Taking the word peace apart,

The letter E.

Peace should be easy.

It shouldn't be something that you're always striving for,

Looking for,

Searching for.

It's something in energy vibration that you can put within your heart center and access that when you need it.

So peace should be easy.

Beginning of peace is taking a breath.

Taking a breath in and out.

And when you want to breathe on a deep level,

Breathe in like you're smelling a flower.

Breathe out like you're blowing out a candle.

And that should take about four breaths.

Four points,

Four minutes,

Four seconds.

So breathing in and then breathing out.

So breathe in to the count of four and breathe out.

So again,

Peace should be easy.

And moving forward peace,

Losing the letter A should be a space of acceptance.

Acceptance of what is?

Acceptance of where you are.

And acceptance of being in a spiritual body.

Being a spirit in a physical body.

And just accepting where you are right now.

It doesn't mean that you can't change it.

It means that you're accepting where you are and then you can make changes to move forward.

So peace is the energy of acceptance.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Accepting this moment,

Accepting you are a light,

Accepting that you're a spirit in a physical body for a period of time.

It is peace.

Peace using the letter C from the word peace is consciousness.

Once you have the consciousness of peace,

It will always remain with you.

That consciousness,

And that energy vibration you can hook into.

So when you have that consciousness of peace,

It will come upon you.

You can do that by saying,

I feel peaceful.

I am at peace.

Peace comes upon me.

I feel the energy of peace.

The consciousness of peace creates it more in your life.

You're always able to access that by being conscious of the energy of peace.

And connecting and continuing with the acronym of peace,

Peace should be energy.

Again,

I mentioned it's a frequency.

So once you connect to that frequency,

Once you hook in,

You can always access this.

It's like downloading a certain app,

Downloading a vibration,

Downloading an energy tone of resonance,

A space of healing.

So again,

For peace,

Take a breath in and then breathe out.

And focus on your heart center.

Just looking at that golden light in your mind's eye,

The light like the sun.

It's being present with the light,

That energy.

Feel peace.

Feel prayerful.

That energy is easy.

Accept it.

Breathe in that consciousness.

Breathe out.

And feel energized.

Your mind wanders,

Hooked back into peace.

When your mind goes into a sad space,

You're going to connect to the energy of peace.

When you might feel nervous or anxious,

You're going to bring back your consciousness to peace.

Taking a breath in and out.

Feeling peaceful.

Feeling that there's nothing to worry about right now.

There's nothing to stress about.

Just feeling this tone.

Just like the dew in the morning,

The blade of grass,

The quiet of a summer night where there's no sound,

Just peace,

Of healing,

Of presence,

Of peace.

You can hook into the energy of peace.

You can be in the moment of peace.

Even when you're working in a difficult environment,

You're around difficult people.

There may be conflict and or confusion,

But you're going to go back to your heart center.

You may even hold your heart and bring in this energy of peace.

Taking a breath in and out.

Energy in and out.

Remember peace is a frequency.

It's something to tap into.

It's something to hook into and feel it throughout all the cells of your body.

Feel peace.

Feel presence.

Feel your spirit.

Your mind wanders.

Go back to peace.

If your mind drops down to sadness,

Bring it up to peace.

If you feel anxious or nervous,

Resonate with the energy of peace.

Taking a breath in and out.

And remember that sun,

That light within your heart resonates with the light within you.

You are peace.

A breath in and out.

Mind and spirit to understand that peaceful energy is within you.

And thank you for remembering yourself as a spirit that you can always connect to that space.
