Grounding yourself is important to do. Because of the way our world works nowadays, we spent too much time in our heads instead of our hearts. Join me in bringing yourself back to your connection to the earth, to your balance, peace, and the comfortable heaviness it gives us. When you are sensitive to the energy of the moon, it can help you to feel more balanced after a full moon.

Hello and welcome.

My name is Karoline and I will guide you during this meditation.

Today we are going to ground ourselves.

Bring ourselves back onto the ground with both our feet.

This is important to do because with everything that is going on in our lives we are in our heads too much and too long so that we literally lose our energy bond with the earth.

And in order to function,

Perform and feel better,

To make better choices and to experience the feeling of being more in balance we need that heavier,

More stable energy from the earth.

You can do this meditation regularly to stabilize yourself again but it is also very nice to do in the days after a full moon especially when you are sensitive to the energy of the moon.

When the moon is full its energy is also at its peak and as we know that the moon is pulling on the earth which we can see in the tides of the ocean it also pulls on us.

So in those days after a full moon it can be very nice and helpful to bring yourself back to the earth again very consciously.

So let's sit or lie down whatever is more comfortable for you.

Make sure you feel comfortable and relaxed.

Close your eyes and take a long slow deep breath in and gently release.

Another long slow deep breath in.

Exhale and let go of everything.

Continue to breathe slowly and at your own pace while following your breath.

Follow the air as it flows in and as it flows back out.

Watch it,

Observe it,

Witness it.

Notice how your body slowly begins to relax,

Your jaws unclench,

Your shoulders relax and your pelvis sinks deeper onto the floor.

Also notice how your mind slowly begins to relax.

Surrender to it and keep breathing while watching your breath.

On your next inhale bring your attention to your spine.

Feel how it stretches out into your back.

From the bottom to the top,

From the top of your neck just below your skull back to the tip of your tailbone.

Keep your attention on this bottom part of your body.

Breathe into this area into your hips,

Your pelvis.

Feel how it expands and notice how it starts to feel a little heavier.

With your next breath in,

Slow and deep,

Visualize the tip of your tailbone extending,

Sort of like a root sinking into the ground through your chair,

Cushion,

The floor,

Straight into the earth.

And on your exhale this root branches out.

It takes root below the surface of the earth.

Every inhalation a bit deeper towards the center,

The earth's core,

And on every exhale it branches out further.

The ends coming closer to each other like you're hugging the earth with your root.

Feel how you connect yourself with the earth and feel how you start to land more and more back onto the earth.

Feel how you become heavier,

Become more connected with the energy of the earth.

Now let's recharge ourselves with her energy for a moment.

Feel how with each inhalation,

Her fine,

Stable,

Heavier energy flows up through your root and fills you up.

Feel the peace that she gives,

The stability,

And the nice heaviness that fills your body.

Let's just keep breathing for a while.

Keep strengthening this connection with the earth and when you notice you've drifted away with thoughts,

Sounds,

Or physical sensations,

That's completely normal.

Effortlessly bring your attention back to your breath and your connection to the earth.

Now watch the time and when you hear the chime just sit gently with your eyes closed.

You you you you you you you you you you you sit gently with your eyes closed and let the stillness and silence and this connection to earth settling.

Take a long slow deep breath in and release with a sigh.

And gently release.

Gently wiggle your toes and fingers.

Turn your head from side to side.

When it feels comfortable for you,

Slowly open your eyes.

I would like to thank you for this moment and see you in the next meditation.

Namaste.

Namaste.

Namaste.
