Connect to the expansiveness of the universe with this guided So Hum mantra meditation. It's easy to become overwhelmed, frustrated and feel out of balance. This is my favorite meditation to reset, to feel open, and connected. I hope you enjoy.

Hello,

Thanks for joining me.

My name is Carmen and I'll be guiding you through this Sohum meditation.

Find yourself in a nice comfortable seat somewhere where your spine feels nice and long and if sitting doesn't feel comfortable to you feel free to lie down but do so in such a way that you don't fall asleep Though perhaps if you do you might need it.

Begin by just connecting with your breath The rise and fall of the inhale and exhale.

No judgment attached to the breath You're simply noticing,

Watching it.

And as you are here allow yourself to feel what you're feeling Allow the sounds around you to just be that sounds around you as you start to dive within I invite in this mantra now as you Inhale,

Think the word so and as you exhale think the word hum so hum so hum As you think the word so attached to it the meaning of I am I am Think about all of the things That you are brother sister mother teacher child carer worker boss tired Excited happy scared so hum now as you think the word hum Think about all of the things External of you.

You can start close,

The table,

The floor,

Your housemate,

Your partner,

Your pet,

The grass The aeroplane,

The trees,

Take it further out,

The planet,

The atmosphere,

Star A supernova.

Hum so I am that.

Consciously now connect everything that you are To everything you perceive as that.

Become aware that you are it all Connected so hum so hum I am Please allow yourself to sit in so hum for as long as time allows And feel ready to get about your day.

Drop the mantra now and come back to watching your breath Notice how it feels in your body now Notice how your mind feel knowing that there's no right or wrong.

Take a deep breath in and a long Deliciously grounding breath out stretch your arms up and overhead the full body inhale bring your hands to prayer in The center of your chest bow into yourself Thank yourself for taking this time and when you're ready open your eyes.

Thank you for allowing me to guide you Have a beautiful day Shanti
