Welcome back to your deep dive into breath awareness.

Today is our last day together and first of all I want to honor you and celebrate you for coming this far,

For doing this work and for following your curiosity all the way through.

Today we will end with some very easy yet very transformative daily breath practices you can add to your day to cultivate breath awareness in daily life.

We have been diving into the phrase breath is life and breath being the tool that can bring us out of the automatic pilot and back into presence in our life.

Breath is key for presence.

It's so easy to go back into our heads and tap out or spiral out and breath is the tool that can take us back into the body,

Into the awareness of our inner world and the outer world.

We breathe from 20 to 30,

000 times a day,

Each breath being an opportunity to perceive and live life different.

You carry breath with you everywhere you go and it's free.

It's so simple we usually take it for granted and forget about it.

So I will share with you seven ways you can choose to bring breath awareness into your daily lives.

All of them are so easy they seem unimportant or even kind of ridiculous but they have actually changed my life.

First practice to bring breath awareness and start opening this door in your daily life is every time you go to the bathroom connect with your breath.

This practice may sound ridiculous but I invite you to try it out and be marveled by its effects.

Every time you go to the bathroom just take your breath,

Not your phone,

Nothing.

Sit there and observe your breath as you do what you need to do.

I did this practice for like a month or two and didn't notice its effects until I stopped doing it and then noticed all the gifts of presence it had given me.

From this first one we expand into the second possibility.

Every time you're doing an activity that doesn't involve too much thinking like showering,

Cleaning the dishes,

Driving,

Cleaning your house,

Take these moments to bring your attention to the breath.

Observe how you're breathing.

It's like taking your awareness from the mind and the mind chatter into the body.

The more you cultivate this path of attention the easier it will be to remember to do it and expand it into other activities in your life.

In my teacher dashboard there's a meditation called for when you are on the go and it's about cultivating breath awareness while you're doing other activities so it could be a good one to practice with.

Number three,

Set an alarm every half an hour,

Every hour,

Every two hours,

Whatever time you like that reminds you to observe for your breath and connect with your breath for a certain amount of minutes.

It could be you are every hour taking three minutes to connect with your breath or every two hours you're taking 11 minutes or 15 minutes or every 30 minutes you're taking five minutes to just be centered and connect with your breath.

However you would feel this technique will work for you.

Four,

Choose a song and every time you play it tune into your breath.

Five,

Write a post-it saying to breathe or I love you or any phrase that makes you feel joy and put it somewhere where you know you will walk several times a day and every time you see this phrase you remember to connect and become aware of the breath moving in and out of your body.

You can also do the same one with repeating the phrase and every time you remember to repeat the phrase you come into your body and back into following your breath.

Number seven is to choose any other way that inspires you to bring breath awareness to your daily life and these practices that I offer here is something that is outside of your daily practices,

Outside of yoga if you're doing or outside of like meditation or exercising.

These are practices for when you are doing other stuff,

For when you are just living daily life and with these practices you get to expand and to develop breath awareness in everyday activities and this will really change the way you are just sitting in your body.

I assure you these practices will bring a subtle but a big change into your life because when I have done them they have opened me to the whispers and the felt sense of the divine into my day-to-day life and given me a sense of connection with something that's greater than my mind.

So today's practice is up to you,

Choose one of these activities or create your own and start practicing daily breath awareness while you're in the middle of your day-to-day life.

My hope is that we all get to experience what it is to live fully present in our body and from this space to enjoy and receive life.

Remember you can come back and practice just the meditations or the breath any number of times that you feel called to.

The experience and the practice will just deepen your connection with yourself,

Your breath and life itself.

Thank you for joining me,

Many many blessings on your life,

On your breath,

On your connections.

May every aspect of your life blossom in the most loving ways.
