Today we're going to embark on a beautiful meditation to connect back to our Mother Earth.
Through our bodies,
Through the breath,
Through our hearts,
We are opening ourselves to feel and to listen to the great wisdom of the Earth.
So I invite you to sit down or lay down,
Ideally out in nature,
If you have access to it and if you feel safe,
Inviting you to gently close your eyes,
Allowing your hands to rest,
Your shoulders to relax,
Your breath to deepen,
Bringing your awareness to the sensation of the Earth beneath you,
Supporting you and holding you in this very moment,
Feeling the solid ground beneath your feet,
Connecting you with the greatness of the Earth.
Continue deepening the breath in and out,
In the lower belly,
In and out,
And we're going to start visualizing,
Imagining roots extending down from the base of your spine,
Down,
Reaching deep into the Earth,
Anchoring into the ground.
With every inhale,
Drawing up the nourishing energy of the Mother Earth,
And with each exhale,
Releasing any tension or stress,
Allowing it to flow down into the Earth so she can transmute it,
She can transform it,
And life can come back.
Breathing in and out,
Reconnecting with the wisdom of our great Mother Earth.
With each breath,
Feeling yourself becoming more and more present in this moment,
Feeling the roots drawing you closer to the Earth,
Closer to her core,
And our inner ears opening to listen to the gentle and wise voice,
To her gentle and wise voice.
The Earth,
She is nurturing and caring for us every moment,
She's holding us in her embrace,
She's holding you right now,
And she's providing us with everything we need to thrive,
Anchoring your attention to the wisdom of the Earth and listen,
Just take a few moments to listen.
What does the Earth want to tell you today?
Tapping into this profound sense of belonging and interconnectedness with nature,
With all her sons and daughters,
The plants,
The animals,
The minerals,
Humans,
Every life form on Earth.
Keep breathing and allow each breath to support you in becoming aware of the natural world around you,
Noticing that you as well are part of nature.
Feel yourself becoming one with the rhythm of nature,
Harmonizing your own cycles with the cycles of life on Earth,
Breathing in the essence of the Earth,
Feeling a deep sense of grounding,
Of stability spreading throughout your body,
Filling you with a deep sense of peace and allow yourself to be held and supported by her wisdom,
By her love.
Listen and taking a moment to thank her,
To express your gratitude because she doesn't need anything from you,
She loves you as you are,
She doesn't expect anything back,
But she would love to be listened to and she sometimes would love to hear your gratitude as we all do when we hold and care for others,
We don't expect it back,
But it's a moment where we can give back the love to her,
To remind her that we are one with her,
That we are her children and we are here to remember why we came here through her,
Remembering our purpose on this Earth as a human.
Remember and keep back in your body as the roots start to come back into your body,
Remember this interconnectedness with it all on this Earth,
With humanity,
With plants,
With animals,
With everything that lives next to us in harmony.
When you're ready,
Open your eyes,
Inviting stillness to stay with you for a few more moments.
And grabbing your pen and paper,
