The intention of the self meditation is to reconnect with your highest self.
Before we begin,
Make sure you're in a comfortable position,
Seated or lying down.
Now let's begin with two deep breaths into the belly.
And consciously begin to relax your body and invite comfort and peace into this place.
Rest your palms face up on your lap or by your side.
Gently close your eyes if you haven't done so already.
You are safe here in this moment.
Guide your attention to the flow of your natural breath.
In and out.
In and out.
Feel the seat or the floor beneath you.
Notice the sounds that float around you.
Now gently move your attention inward and return to the flow of your breath.
In and out.
In and out.
Listen to the pulse of your heart beating.
Now visualize your palms filling with a bright light.
This light is pure love.
Once you're able to see this love in your mind's eye,
Bring your hands together and bring them to heart center.
Imagine the light pouring from your hands and into your heart center.
Feel the warmth of the love fill your heart and move throughout your entire body.
Into your chest,
Your back,
Your head,
Down to your belly and further down into your pelvis.
Allow the warmth to travel through your limbs.
And if your mind begins to wander,
Gently guide it back to your breath.
In and out.
In and out.
Return your palms to your lap or rest them gently by your side.
And return your awareness to your breath as you inhale.
Inhale I am and exhale loved.
Inhale I am and exhale loved.
Inhale I am and exhale loved.
Let's stay here for a few moments.
Inhaling I am and exhaling loved.
Inhaling I am and exhaling loved.
In this moment,
Offer good will to yourself and repeat silence silently to yourself.
May I be safe.
May I be peaceful.
May I be kind to myself.
May I accept and love myself exactly as I am.
Take a few deep breaths into your belly knowing that you can return to this moment at any time that you wish.
Deep into the belly and gently open your eyes and bring your palms to heart center.
