This is a "noting" practice where you will learn a basic skill for recognizing aspects of inner experience without getting sucked into it. In this practice, you will be guided in a breath focus practice. But instead of returning to the breath when you see you are distracted, you will take the additional step of identifying and categorizing the distraction as a thought, emotion, or sensation. With this practice, you'll get a chance to rest and relax as in any meditation but also cultivate inner awareness as well.
