Hello my friends,
This is Bridget Baird with Bridge to the Universe and good morning.
Welcome to this morning's meditation.
Let's begin just by settling in,
Taking in a nice deep breath through the nose,
Just a gentle easy breath in.
And ever so gently let that go.
Let's do that again,
Just settling in to this moment and into your practice today.
A nice gentle inhale and the easy exhale.
And let's now just begin to witness maybe letting go of tension in your legs or in your hips,
Allowing the muscles of the stomach to just be very relaxed right now.
Just for right now there's nowhere else to be,
There is nothing else to do.
Just taking these morning moments to connect with yourself,
Connect with your mind,
Your body,
And your spirit.
Easing through the ribcage,
Gently opening your heart with another gentle easy breath in.
Letting that go,
Releasing any tension in your shoulders or your arms,
Allowing the muscles of the neck to just relax.
Soothing the muscles of the face,
Maybe unclenching your jaw as you take another nice gentle inhale and slowly letting that go.
And now that we are nice and settled into this practice,
I invite you now to bring your awareness to your mind and maybe visualizing a slide or whatever helps you bring your mind down into your heart center.
For me it helps to visualize my mind sliding down that slide and being greeted with open arms by my heart.
And once you arrive into your heart this morning,
Let's just take another nice breath now that we have arrived in this sacred divine place within us.
Letting it go and finding peace within this place.
This is our center where we really awaken to the day,
Where we awaken to our best version.
But before we do that we're gonna take a few moments to just get still.
I invite you to find a comfortable place in your heart.
Maybe it's on a bench overlooking some water,
A cozy cabin by the fire,
Whatever feels good to you.
But once you find that place I invite you to bring your mind,
Your heart,
And your body together.
Maybe visualizing these three versions of yourself all sitting together as one.
Another gentle inhale.
Welcoming this union.
Gently letting that breath go.
And with your mind,
Your heart,
And your body together,
They begin to gently witness listening to a mantra.
And the mantra we're going to listen to this morning is Sat Chit Ananda.
Sat Chit Ananda.
This mantra means truth,
Knowingness,
And bliss.
Sat Chit Ananda.
Your mind,
Your body,
And your heart together sitting peacefully.
They gently listen to this mantra.
Sat Chit Ananda.
And as they sit and listen,
Thoughts may come and go.
The mantra itself may change.
That's okay.
Anytime you notice that you've begun to drift away to the day,
No worries.
Just gently bring yourself back to Sat Chit Ananda.
We will sit quietly for a few moments now,
Connecting with this stillness.
And when you hear my voice again,
Just continue to sit gently with your eyes closed.
And so we begin with Sat Chit Ananda.
Sat Chit Ananda.
Sat Chit Ananda.
Sit quietly with your eyes closed and just let the stillness settle in.
And when it feels good,
Let's go ahead and take an Ananda nice nourishing inhale,
Sending some sweetness to every cell in our body and letting that go.
Before we open our eyes and begin our days,
Let's just take a moment to breathe into our being.
Taking in a nice deep breath of acceptance.
Knowing that we can accept and allow this day to unfold with grace,
Trust,
And ease.
Opening your heart and breathing in that sweet acceptance for exactly what is.
And letting that go.
Next,
Let's take in a breath of gratitude.
Just thanking the universe and your source for this day.
Thinking of all of those who's and the what's that you're grateful for.
And just breathing that into your heart with a nice deep inhale.
And letting that go.
The final breath that we will take together is breathing in our blessings for the day.
Breathing in all that we have to receive today.
The universe has beautiful blessings awaiting for you.
Go ahead and open your heart to receiving them.
Gently let it go.
Slowly opening your eyes.
Looking at your space in this day that you have manifested for yourself.
