This 20-minute guided body scan may help release tension after a busy day or easing into the night. It may also help you reconnect with the now through the body, calming the mind to prepare for a deep, restorative sleep. Becoming aware of the entirety of your experiences, without trying to change them, is the practice. If you find the mind wandering a lot, simply acknowledge wherever it has gone and gently bring the mind back to the body scan. Be as kind and compassionate with your wandering mind in this practice as you would a straying puppy bringing a gentle curiosity to each region of the body without judgment.
