Welcome to this guided practice,
My name's Julia and today we'll be taking some time to release anything that's been diminishing or restricting our power,
And to step into that highest version of ourselves.
Start by finding a quiet,
Comfortable space where you can sit or lie down without interruption,
Closing or softening the eyes,
Taking a few moments to settle in.
Feel the support of the surface beneath you as it rises up to meet your body.
Breathe in deeply through your nose and exhale fully through your mouth.
Repeat this two more times at your own pace,
Letting each exhale soften your body further into a place of relaxation.
Slowly begin to shift your awareness to your physical body.
Gently notice how you're feeling in this moment,
Without assigning any value to it.
For example,
If you're feeling any sort of pain or discomfort,
Simply observing this instead of giving it a negative value.
If you're feeling strong and confident,
Observing this as well.
Taking a few moments just to scan and to notice what's going on internally.
If any sensations or any emotions come up for you,
Noticing these as well,
Without assigning value or passing judgment.
Continuing to breathe freely as you observe.
Begin to shift your focus to your heart space,
With each inhale feeling that breath gently expanding throughout your chest,
Creating space for confidence and self-assurance.
With each exhale,
Releasing any doubts,
Fears,
Or limiting beliefs,
Inhaling to deepen any of the things that you observed during your body scan that you'd normally label as positive.
Feelings of strength,
Of happiness,
Of confidence.
Exhaling to release the hold of any of the things you observed that you would typically label as negative.
Feelings of tension,
Stress,
Discomfort.
Creating a blank canvas with which to start fresh.
As your breath flows naturally,
Beginning to reflect on the qualities of your true power.
What does it mean to you to claim your strength?
Is it courage,
Resilience,
Or the ability to stand in your truth?
Is there something else entirely?
A physical sensation,
A personality trait,
Perhaps a lifestyle shift that you feel embodies true power?
Allow these qualities to take form in your mind one by one,
Using your breath to begin to anchor them deeply within you.
Now imagine yourself standing tall in a wide open space of your choosing.
Above you,
The sky stretches infinitely,
Vast and full of potential.
Beneath you,
The earth is solid and unwavering.
You feel the rhythm of your breath,
Steady and strong.
With each inhale,
You draw in power from the vastness of the sky,
Completely limitless,
Without bounds or restrictions.
Each breath out anchors you firmly to the earth,
Providing you with unwavering support and strength.
Take a moment to find your balance here,
Using this cycle of breath to reflect your inner power,
Your inner truth,
Your inner purpose.
Continuing to draw that strength from the sky above,
Breathing in all of those properties that you brought to mind,
Those qualities that you wish to embody.
Allowing yourself to become more firmly planted,
More firmly held by the grounds beneath you.
Standing here in your strength,
In your capability,
In all of your self-worth.
But before you can move forward in this space,
It's time to lighten your mental and physical load,
To shed the weight of all of the burdens that you've taken on,
The expectations that weren't your own,
The dramas,
The chaos,
The energy that you've given away to situations,
To people,
To doubts.
You've been carrying this for too long.
It's finally time to let it all go,
To allow that internal strength to shine through.
You reach out your arms in front of you and begin to brush it all away,
Fully sweeping your body from head to toe,
As if you were brushing off dust or cobwebs.
Giving yourself a shake here,
Freeing yourself completely from this burden,
From this weight.
Watching it all fall away and dissipate into the area surrounding you.
You breathe in deeply and take a step forward,
Feeling lighter and freer than ever before.
Noticing how freely you can walk now.
As you step forward,
You begin to look around,
Taking in the beauty of this vast space that you are in,
The space of your dreams,
Which you now easily inhabit.
With each cycle of breath,
Your power continues to grow,
Taking in all of those qualities you previously brought to mind,
Filling you bit by bit like a battery that's been set to charge,
Calling your power back,
Standing fully in your truth,
Growing brighter and more vibrant with each breath.
As you begin to gather your energy,
Observing once more how your body is feeling,
Allowing your spine to elongate,
Embodying this powerful version of yourself that you have desired to become.
Watching as a gentle but powerful energy radiates from your core through every fiber of your being.
You are whole.
You are powerful.
You have always been worthy,
But now you are ready to embody that worthiness.
Taking your time to bask in this energy,
Filling yourself up with those qualities of strength,
Of power,
Self-confidence.
Inhaling deeply,
Feeling this strength and life force flowing through you.
Exhaling fully,
Grounding this energy into your physical body.
Knowing that you have now stepped into the desired version of yourself,
Beginning to invite some gentle movement back into your physical body,
Opening the eyes whenever you're ready.
There is nothing more that you need to do.
Continuing to channel these feelings of worthiness and confidence,
Knowing that you are already that person that you desired to be,
That you hold the energy and the power you've claimed it.
Moving through your day,
Returning to this space of strength within you whenever you need it.
