Take a few full breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Allowing yourself to settle in to this present moment.
With each exhale,
Beginning to let go of feelings of tension or distraction.
Allowing yourself to fully focus on the healing process.
With your next inhale,
Bringing your attention to the area of your body that is in need of healing energy.
Notice any sensations or feelings of discomfort in that area.
Instead of visualizing,
We will explore a style of meditation that involves connecting with the body through mindful awareness and compassionate presence.
If you are comfortable doing so,
Gently placing your hands over the area that is in need of healing.
If there is no area in particular,
Or if your entire body is feeling unwell,
You can try placing your hands over your heart center.
Feeling the warmth and the gentle pressure of your hands on your body.
Allow your attention to settle on the physical sensations beneath your touch.
Noticing the temperature,
The texture,
And any subtle movements or pulses.
Now,
Begin to shift your focus to your breath.
Feel the gentle rise and fall of your breath as it moves in and out of your body.
With each breath,
Imagine that you are sending healing energy directly to the area that your hands are making contact with.
Feel this energy as a soothing warmth flowing from your hands directly into your body,
Nurturing and revitalizing the cells beneath.
As you breathe here,
Bringing a sense of loving kindness and compassion to this area.
Taking the next few moments to choose an intention for yourself.
You may wish to say,
May this part of my body be healed and healthy,
Or may I find comfort and ease in this area,
Or perhaps I am growing stronger and healthier with each passing minute.
Feel free to play around with your wording to find something that resonates with your current feelings.
Once you have settled on your intention,
Feel the power behind those words,
Radiating genuine care and healing energy towards yourself.
Continue to repeat this phrase internally as you send this nurturing energy towards the area that needs it most.
Now,
Begin to expand your awareness beyond these physical sensations.
Observing any emotions or thoughts that are coming up for you as you connect with this part of your body.
Allowing these feelings to be present without judgment,
Without resistance.
If there are any negative feelings,
Pain,
Fear,
Even sadness that are associated with this part of your body,
Acknowledging those as well.
With an attitude of kindness and acceptance,
Offer yourself compassion,
Understanding.
As I speak the following affirmations,
Simply allow them to wash over you.
You may repeat them in your head,
Or just listen.
May I find peace and healing within myself.
I am surrounded by love and support,
Which nourishes my body and spirit.
Every day,
In every way,
I am getting better and stronger.
My body knows how to heal itself,
And I trust in its innate wisdom.
I am resilient and capable of overcoming any health challenge.
I am at peace with my body,
And I send it healing energy and gratitude.
